For those who wonder why LeAnn cries at the end: Rimes cries first because it is a tribute to a person who made history and died too soon and in a tragic way and second because Patsy is the idol of LeAnn and his greatest influence, only you have to hear the vocal record of each one. Let's say it's a tribute from a princess to a queen. At the end of the tribute she says "I love you Patsy". Patsy and LeAnn two of the best vocalists in history.

Listening to Patsy Cline songs the original songs that I have on LP that are so scratched from years and years of use and everything, now I listen to them remade like on UA-cam, etc..However, , Patsy Cline songs, with her singing, they, always make me cry, the kind of crying that makes, me feel good, kind of cry and reminiscing about the, past it’s always an emotional time for me anyway….I love this music so much, and I used to sing it with my sister who passed away in 2001, but we sang this song a lot and Brenda Lee was another one we used to sing, too and my mom just said oh my God, you girls were meant to sing, we always were too shy, and when she said that we should sing it again,We would become so bashful,so we’d have to sing it out in the barn, so nobody could hear us…. I grew up listening to Patsy Cline when I was probably in fourth grade barely 10 years old and I still know every song that she sang that was on this tribute by LeAnn Rimes anyway I still know all those words by heart and I listen to her over the years but since these words were, over, the last few months that I’ve listened, to her singing them, I realize that I have not forgot the words, so my approaching old age in, another 20 years or so🙄, perhaps, I might not remember them, but for right now I still do and I enjoy singing with LeAnn Rimes as it turns out but I try to pretend like it’s Patsy Cline, like when I was young, Wow, memories that make me cry…
LeAnn, you are amazing. You do old country, current country, show tunes and ballads like nobody else. We saw you in Salt Lake City a few years ago Ioved every minute. We especially loved you Janice Joplin and blues songs. Our best to you always in singing and your personal life. Remember how blessed you are.
Appropriate person to sing a Patsy Cline tribute. When LeAnn Rimes first broke out with "Blue" around 1996, I thought to myself - "This sounds like Patsy Cline - something Patsy would've done" - then I later read that "Blue" was actually written years earlier and pitched to Patsy by a friend of the writer, but Patsy was killed before getting to it.
A tragedy that she was killed in that plane crash. But then, more people get killed just falling in their homes. Dummy, it's not the crash, it's the voice and the person who used it so powerfully, that we all lost. Beautifully Done Such a Wonderful Tribute to Patsy Thank you LeAnn♥️
Hello Sheila..
💖❤️👍
LeAnn Rimes is so underrated and all because of who she fell in love with!
Really!?! Her song choice and label changed, don't you think that's where she went wrong.
@@deb4735 I'm sure it is. I didnt even know about her drama until recently. I still dont really know details
Turn off the fake news, tune out all that "reality TV" BS and just listen to the music.
@@deb4735 Agreed----LeAnn didn't do as well as maybe she hoped changing genres. I understand someone her age not wanting to be pigeon holed into just Country music but sometimes establishing another fan base isn't easy when you've become so well known in one style.
I agree. What I don't understand is why she was an outcast in country music when those that treated her so harshly should probably sweep behind her own backdoor. It will come back on them when their judgement day comes. LeAnn will always be a lady with a beautiful voice that Should have been one of the top 10 female country voices of all time. Blessings, love and happiness to you always LeAnn! Please continue to share you amazing talent with us always!! 💞
She had all emotion of the singer, the songs, and the moment of this tribute, beautiful,, saw her break with emotion at the end. What a princess

She is the best singer since she started and no one has reached her yet!
I have always loved LeAnn. The first time I heard "Blue" I was pulling out of my driveway and I stopped the car and listened. lol I have sung a couple of Patsy Cline songs on my channel. Faded Love and Sweet Dreams. I won karaoke contests singing Sweet Dreams. lol I loved Patsy since I was a little girl. She is my Idol. Singing any of her songs is an honor. NO ONE can sound as good as her. Never.
