Today Loretta passed away. I am sure that Patsy and Loretta are having a great reunion in Heaven. One of my favorite movies is Patsy & Lorretta, I watch the movie many times on Netflix just to hear the singing of these two.
You can hear Loretta's voice is deeper than she naturally sings on the slow songs. I think we are definitely hearing Patsy's influence. She would have been proud to hear her best friend cover her songs.
Wow, she did justice to Patsy! Patsy and Loretta are absolute legends! They paved the path for all other female country singers that followed them. They are both reunited in Heaven now.
Just found this little gem. Patsy and Loretta's voice streamed across all brands of society. Thanks for posting it. Just shows LL's range, and glad she can finally do justice for Patsy.
Patsy Cline = Magnificent Loretta Lynn = Fantastic. What the difference? Patsy Cline to me is still alive as she's a living legend to all of us country fans.
Agreed, loved her intro, as soon as I heard her start to sing 'I Fall to Pieces" I started crying. What a voice. I am a HUGE Patsy fan, but also love Loretta, even more so because she was truly a dear friend of Patsy's and only wants to honor her, she could care less about exploiting, or making money on her songs, that's why it took her so long to attempt this!
I always wanted to meet Lorette Lynn, she's has shown the world how to be a friend to someone. That friendship never changed even when Patsy was gone. I think they were more like sisters.
@@aussieyobbo9527 That's debatable. I think Loretta Lynn has the best voice in County music. But Connie Smith is up there too. So is Iris Dement, a later singer. I think we're spoilt with so many quality women in Country
Loretta's opening statement about Patsy..I'm already in tears. God bless her. And nobody could have done such a beautiful & honest tribute to Patsy's incredible voice & songs.
Well I'm black woman and I love listening to both of these ladies.... I love all kinds of music if they can sing then I'm going to play them. I grew up in Arkansas so I'm country too lol but I like this music just as much as I love R&B
I’m from mi and white but I love Motown and old country like this. My family is from West Virginia and Irish/Cherokee so I like that we can relate to someone so famous.
I'M A BLACK 39 YR OLD AND I LOVE PATSY CLINE SHOOT. I SING AND PLAY HER MUSIC EVERY WHERE. I'D MARRY HER IF I COULD HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I CRY, SING, DANCE AND SHARE HER MUSIC. I LOVE ME SOME PATSY CLINE SHOOT.
I'm from Canada and made my way all of the way down to Nashville to experience the country music that I had grown up to love. Visited the Grand Old Opry as well as the first place Pasty and Loretta sang together in a music shop. So thrilling!
I know first hand working on Doolittle ranch, or Loretta’s it was just shocking because they heard Patsy died in such a tragic way. I’ll tell you as I’m 93 I still remember. Time has a way of making you remember.
Loretta Lynn is one of my favourite country women singers. So real and i love how she can sing these melodies of her dear friend Patsy. The are both blessed with Gods gift of singing. I wish she could make it to New Zealand to sing for us kiwis! Love you since i was a wee child....
I am I'll and spend much of my time in bed. I wish all of these singers of past and present could know the comfort I get from their music....thank you from the deepest part of my heart.
I read some time ago that Loretta alone resurrected the great music of Patsy Cline through her LP, chapter in her autobiography, and film. In fact the LP "I Remember Patsy" was one of Loretta's many gold records according to RIAA.
Country music will never be the same Loretta,,Patsy, Mearl, Hank Williams, they are the best of country music George Jones, play a big role in my life from childhood to still today they are the best ever, there will never be music like that again and it's sad! Love my Country Music ❤❤❤❤💕🥰🙏🙏🙏
Must listen Audio book : " Me & Patsy: kickin up dust. It's fantastic!!!! Things Loretta couldn't or wouldn't tell before... read by the daughter she named after Patsy.
Patsy knew Loretta was bound for great stardom...that's why she befriended Loretta. Many singers in Nashville...(namely the women)...didn't want Loretta to succeed and held a meeting to discuss on how to run her out of town. Patsy was invited to this meeting and she knew what the women had in mind. She then went over to Loretta's house and told her to get dressed up and that they had somewhere to be that night. Patsy showed up at the meeting that night with Loretta right behind her. I would have loved to see the look on all the other country gal singers faces when they saw Loretta there! Patsy put her stamp of approval on Loretta and the rest is history! Loretta herself said to succeed in Nashville one has to be First, Great, or Different and she was all of the above in my books!
+Andre Gervais I had no idea either. You go, Patsy! What a bunch of two faced bitches they were and Patsy sure wasn't in that kind of crap. They probably saw that Loretta had something that they didn't have. I wonder who those ladies were...
Andre Gervais actually when Loretta came too town there wasn't many girl singers Patsy kitty Jean Shepard Dottie West skeeter Davis and June Carter and Loretta dolly and Tammy and Connie came a few years later Loretta I do know was very good friends with all of them especially kitty and Patsy Jean Shepard was the One who didn't care for Loretta but guess what Loretta is the most awarded lady in the history of country Decca doll first lady She will remain Queen and when she passes it will go to Dolly
I saw Coal Miner's Daughter when it came out in Palm Springs. I immediately fell in love with Loretta Lynn and her sound along with the country music sound. The drug store cowboy fad was just beginning at that time by the way.
God people if you don't like Loretta why are you on a video OF Loretta? Because you like Patsy? Well, there are videos of Patsy HERSELF you could watch instead. I love Loretta and no she can't do it like Patsy can because no one can. I'm sure she knows it too.
Awww Loretta. What a beautiful tribute to Patsey. God bless you
You beautiful lady. You are amazing
Today Loretta passed away. I am sure that Patsy and Loretta are having a great reunion in Heaven. One of my favorite movies is Patsy & Lorretta, I watch the movie many times on Netflix just to hear the singing of these two.

The real Queen Of Country. She was the best singer humanity will ever have. She’s with Patsy now. Her soul is at peace. She’s with Patsy.
You can hear Loretta's voice is deeper than she naturally sings on the slow songs. I think we are definitely hearing Patsy's influence. She would have been proud to hear her best friend cover her songs.
You can hear her heart break. She never thought she would be doing her best friends songs in memory of a superstar like Patsy Cline.

Except Patsy had the best voice in female country music
Not "EXACTLY", but close enough and a nice tribute.

Quite good. But no one is as good as Patsy. A unique talent that is born once in a century or so.
