The damage should not be blame on the delivery man. It's the foolish house own's fault. They should be reported to the proper animal authorities. I see nothing funny of the delivery happening.
When two or three dobermans came tearing out of a backyard, and I was recounting the terrifying experience to my husband, our three year old said, "Yeah, and Mom yelled "Help! Help!" (in a high squeaky voice)
We were never on the property, just walking in the middle of a barely traveled road. *The dogs were not within a visible fence.* They looked to be in full attack mode. I later discovered there was an electric fence in place. What happens if the electricity goes out? These dogs were dangerous. I had a three year old with me.
Oh yeah, friendly or not, Tibetan Mastiffs are among the most intense guardian breeds. They were bred to work and guard property. Beautiful breed, but that is a scary predicament if you step on a property and a Tibetan comes right at you while it's on duty!
As someone who loves dogs, I hate owners who just assume everyone is okay with dogs. Why wouldn’t you leash them or have them in the house or at least keep them away from the front door- it sucks that delivery people deal with dozens of cases like this every day. Both friendly and unfriendly dogs

I'm in a service based job myself. It's not that people are afraid of dogs in general. You're just afraid of dogs that you don't know and they don't know you. The natural instinct of most dogs is to protect their home and where their food comes from. I hate when people say "oh he won't bite, he's never bitten us." I don't give a sh*t if he hasn't bitten you!!! I've been attacked 3 times in my career, and each time it happens, I get a form of ptsd over it!! People...put your damn dogs up!! You want your packages delivered but don't give a sh*t what happens to the delivery guy? It's just common decency... but then again, that seems to be lacking anymore. F*ck you as long as I get mines....right? There was an Amazon delivery driver that was killed not too long ago by 2 dogs... The sad thing is, it did not have to happen.

I agree with @petitemorte. I have a very large dog (shep-rottie) and I always let delivery people and service people know. It’s courteous. If you’ve never been around dogs, they’re scary.
Wish he could sue for that. I hate dog owners like this. Not everyone likes dogs, some are actually terrified because they’ve been bitten. Lock your dang dog up when you know you got deliveries

I would definitely have a mini heart attack if I turned around and the dog was just there, but it did nothing so I would just let it sniff me. That was funny tho XD
I don't blame him. I hope he didn't have to pay for the damage.
It's not his fault. The dog owners should have had a sign.
The dog should be confined, especially if you know a delivery is coming!
