The real cost of living in Michigan
Вставка
- Опубліковано 26 гру 2022
- Michigan is not a cheap place to live. The cost of living in Michigan is higher than you'd expect and it's for a weird reason. If you want to move to Michigan, you need to know this.
My favorite state. Hardly any tornadoes, no earth quakes, no hurricanes. Ok. Blizzards, but not that often. The upper peninsula is great. Lots of forrests.😊👍
The upper peninsula is like another 🌎
Yup it’s the best
Except for the tornado around Detroit in 2023 (or 2022
To everyone saying “ohh Detroit is so cheap!” There’s kinda two sides of Detroit, the cheaper, kinda worse side and then there’s the…
Rich private school, mansions, THE FOUNDER OF MOTWON MUSSic, they own Michelle Jackson’s famous gloves! And many other famous pecies
Also one time I went to a concert in Detroit and a limo pulled up with about 15 kids and one had a “11th bday!” Hat on, the concert tickets were expensive and they all had V.I.P,
So in conclusion Detroit can be expensive
Sorry for spelling errors
I'm sure Detroit has an substantial impact on the average
Yeah, there’s some real cheap houses outside the major metro areas. Bought one recently and only a 30-min commute to the nearest major city, and everything I need is within 5-min driving distance.
lol he’s never been to California .. I’m going to Michigan and housing , gas , utilities is literally 50%-60% cheaper
Dearborn, melvindale and Detroit ur living the life
Ridiculous housing cost in southeast MI, compared to what you get out of it. I’ll be on my way out for greener pastures.
Yeah, just depends on where you're at. What city are you in?
"...about 97,000 square miles of land."
Uh, no. Not even close.
Michigan contains 96,716 square miles of land. So, kinda close 🤷♂️
@@PaulWolfert Wrong. Its TOTAL area is 96,714 square miles. Its LAND area is 56,539 square miles. Over 40,000 square miles is WATER - the highest proportion of water of any state.
WATER is not LAND.
@@pablonh you’re not wrong lol I just googled it
Unless your living in Detroit it's not going to be cheap...
Even Detroit is expensive now...especially the taxes
You got to live in the hood if you want it to be cheap
@@Small_PotatosMe personally being from Newhaven ct living in the hood wouldn’t be hard on me. But I wouldn’t want to raise my kids in a bad place. Because basically you run the risk of one of your kids getting influenced by the streets and you might lose one to death or life in prison. Stray bullets people arguing, fighting, you’re bike or basketball hoop might get stolen. And if you got the guts to get your stuff back you gotta deal with how the other person might react. People think they own the hood staring all in your car when driving by and blocking the street off. Man I hate the our people chose to live.
I am from California , I pay 2700 for a 1 bed 1 bath. I will be moving next year to Clinton township. 2 bed 2 bath 1370 with most utilities 🤯
@alexmagallanes1929 that is absolutely insane, is it at least alot easier to get paid more in California?
I'm glad to hear you're going to save so much money. I'm pretty sure Clinton township is pretty nice to.. a lot of country, so less problems.
Better be ready to take on these winters! Surprised you're leaving that climate to come here unless you're interested in our seasons.
Holy shit! Paul! I moved to Texas about 18 years ago because everything here was vastly cheaper than Michigan. The career is also paid about four times as much. Nowadays, it's the complete opposite, no thanks to Californians. If you don't know who this is yet, it's Jason Matthews. We went to high school together. By the way... how's that Porche treating you?
Hey Jason!! That's what I've heard from my agent friends in Texas. LOVING the Porsche... It's the only car I've ever really wanted since I was a kid.
Unless your in flint, flint is fucking wild and is spaced out possum springs
Florida cost of living is ridiculous
Yeah it is!
Don’t live in flint. Just don’t
Haha, noted! I'll make sure to cross Flint off my "Places to Move" list. Thanks for the heads up!
Ok i'm canceling my moving 😂. I'm running out of Fl because of the costs of living, and Michigan was on my list.
😂😂 Michigan is still pretty awesome.
Cap the cost of living
Cap the hours
System Taking to long
@jabarijames94.
Communist much? Don’t sit on your tail whining like a child, It’s easy pal, Move to Russia.
This is the USA!
Sum it up! Don’t move here! Go to a better warm state.😂
It’s not that cold
@@Small_Potatosit is. But it does depend on the area you live in
@@Hearts4Rea.. today it’s a low of 45 and a high of 53
I love the seasons change in Michigan . 😊
Me too! Just not when it's unexpected 😂
