was at a dealership today . I was very impressed. The high ball looks better in person. all of their bikes do. Will rent one for a day sometime soon. I use to have 2005 HD electra glide that I set up like a street glide before they came out . had a 95 inch kit with screaming eagle heads and s&s gear drive cams with a thunderheader exhaust. with the highball I wouls just add the 2-1 exhaust they offer at the dealership and would be good to go.
Beautiful bike...I wish I could check one out in my area but every time they get one at the dealership it's sold. Just for fun check out the dyno numbers between the new Harley blackline and the Victory highball. A 20hp difference between the 96ci and the 106ci leaves Harley lagging behind. Judge the ride not the label.
But it's not a Harley. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a snob here. After doing a day's worth of demo rides at the local Victory dealership, I believe these are the finest bikes on the planet. Victory rules in comfort and performance with its own unique style. It's American made, great price, and veteran-friendly. But it's not a Harley. That's the decision that the consumers will have to make, and I congratulate Vic on making it such a tough choice.
I had a couple issues with warranty work that local dealers refused on my Harley. tried calling customer service in Milwaukee left several messages no returned calls. so as much as I like Harleys I was not happy. my next bike will be a Victory.
@motousa What is a good cruiser for a 6' 7'' guy? I have a VN2000 but the seat needs to be set back a few more inches. I have highway pegs but laying my ankles up there too long isn't comfortable. I sometimes hop up onto the passenger seat to stretch out. I want to try a Victory but not the vision, or a harley.
What is a good bike for a 6'7'' guy? I have a VN2000 and wish the seat was a few more inches back. I have highway pegs and those don't help that much because the back of the seat sticks into my lower back and is uncomfortable and my ankles can only rest on them so long. I was wanting to try a Victory (not a vision) or a harley.
I saw this bike today at the dealership and DAMN I fell in love. Now idk if I should get this or a sport bike. This is the only time I kinda dont like having a girlfriend cuz this only has 1 seat haha. Oh well.
Love the high ball, but there's just something about it that makes me say no. I love Victory, and I LOVE bobber's, but I don't know if I would buy one. I would also like to see motousa do a comparison of this against the Harley Street Bob, would just like to know how they feel the 2 match up.
I like how people say "but its not a Harley". Who effing cares! Its made in America isn't it. That's all that matters. And everybody knows Harley puts China made parts in their bikes. So all you Harley lovers are are just contradicting yourselves. What the he'll is wrong with competition from another American made company that employs hard working families. I guess Victory should close up their factory and layoff employees be aide Harley owners don't want bikes on the road other than Harley's.
I think Victory needs to stick to their pro street style...or at the very least change the gas tank fender lines. Sorry, its exactly like every other Victory motorcycle in the show room except it has high bars and a fatty front tire.
nice looking bike but too bad its a victory and the name is painted on. i won't ride anything that says victory after being told to fuck off in a voice mail left by an arlen ness victory sales guy and when i contacted victory they said sorry we will get back to you and haven't heard back in a year and a half. i would rather pay more for a harley than ride with the name victory
i love this bike. They are $20,000 here in Australia and our dollar is worth more than the US!
Overpriced here in Aus.

@nickiz1 No, sorry Harley has the patent on that feature:)
bad ass bike! bought one on friday!
@gghostrrider Its padded leather solo seat is slunk at a low 25 inches. MotoUSA.com search Victory High-Ball First Ride.
So torn between this or the Vegas 8 Ball!!!!
what did you end up getting?
Give it the inverted front forks of the Hammer and you'd easily have the sickest factory bike ever. Not that it isn't already wild.

How much?
@GOBbluthagain
Those aren't really ape bars though, at least not very aggressive ones.
Way cooler than any harley!!!!!!!
It's very cool, I like it but I wish another American motorcycle company could take a stab at the performance/sport bike niche.

Harley riders would have to completely change their wardrobe if they switched to Victory.
@socalpimp1974 not everyone wants to be a squid
I've never liked Kawasaki motorcycles, but this ones not that bad.
