3 days of doing these stretches and my back and hips are free for the first time in years!!! What's interesting is I was doing yoga poses that were close to the same as these, but the subtle difference like having your arms inside but hands on the outside feet.

Great stretches! I need to add the Cobra to my routine. I think the muscles on the front of the thigh are mainly knee extensors, though a small part of quadriceps femoris does act as hip flexor. The muscle complex you address here I believe is the iliopsoas deep in the abdomen. (Maybe someone already pointed this out, I didn't check all the comments.) I also feel a good stretch through my adductors. Thanks for the good work, us guys need a friend like you. Keep going!

So i am having some trouble starting urination while standing (i am a man) and i found out i might be suffering from hypertonic pelvic floor muscles due to my excessive sitting habbit and i've seen a bunch of kegel exercise videos which aim to STRENGHTEN the muscles which i correctly assumed that they would only worsen the situation i will try these exercises and update if anything changed (also i got my prostate and urethra checked and all is good) i would also like to know if running might help

If you're not experiencing a decrease in flow, pelvic pain, ED, or incomplete emptying (yes, factoring in enlarged prostate) there is little function or impact. These exercises and strategies are specific to the symptoms you experience (the list above). If you don't have any of those symptoms, adding in a few stretching and mobility sessions per week will help with your flexibility. I hope this helps!

Is there a slight chance that these exercises would help someone like me? I guess I don't have overactive bladder, more like an underactive bladder. I do get the "urge" to go, would this be something I can be optimistic about? Please respond, as I have been so terribly depressed over my situation.

Your abdominals (core) share an attachment site on your pelvis with your pelvic floor muscles. When you sit down for the majority of the day these muscles can become very tight. The idea with this video is to stretch all the muscles surrounding the pelvic floor, that and most of us don’t stretch enough. I hope this helps

Love you Dr.Erick. I have a question how we know if we need to stretch the pelvic floor or we need to strengthen it?

That's a tricky one to answer but I actually made a video on this a while back that explains it for you here: ua-cam.com/video/46gUveizNcQ/v-deo.htmlsi=z5K5_t-CmUHOe2tw
