This thing is underrated for GRB. Counts as a fighter but carries a 3k lb bomb that can quickly get a double on enemies capping a base. I got a 8km 7C kill on a climbing propeller plane once too lol. The guns are amazing but the biggest downside is no flares and a bad speed bleed if you try to dodge missiles. The main 2 things on this plane to know are. 1. Don't try to lock with the ACM mode 2. It's easier for radar to pick up people above you and avoid ground clutter.
@@Samulater_well it’s not actually longer range, it’s just useable from further out headon since the target is moving towards the missile, but it has less potential energy than a 9b so rear aspect even with a lock the 9b will travel further and give no warning
@@RedTail1-1oh you must be new. Back when reaper drones were a thing at 9.0ish GRB this thing was the only thing in the game that could reliably deal with drones. Simply spawn this thing and the enemy teams drones essentially becomes a none issue.
One other thing to point out, the Demon is, well, actually a demon in very low speed rate fights. The flaps are leading edge, and give you so much lift and AoA at speeds where most other jets will be falling out of the air. You'll just sit there at 300 kph and be able to point your nose just about anywhere you want except straight up. This is obviously not a good idea when there's any risk of being third partied, but it gives you the option to fully commit to a 1v1 where you/'re able to bleed the speed of your opponent. If they keep turning, they'll eventually be forced to break off when they run out of lift, making them an easy target for an AIM-9B.
I feel like the F3H is a bit of a mismatched aircraft. Compared to its contemporaries it's pretty slow, yet the armament and airfoils are that of a plane that seeks to master high altitudes. It's great with dogfights, but it operates in a region where that's less of the focus. In a way, I could imagine an alternate history where the F11 and F3H swap wings and armaments and are better planes as a result, as cursed as they might look.

The F3H is hardly an issue at 9.0. The sparrow is a gimmick at best, if not straight up dead weight. They are only a serious threat to bombers and AFK climbers. The flight performance is not that stellar either.
Should've played the f3h before both it and f100d gets curbstomped by a10s and su25s since simply they both have NO Countermeasures this br decrease helps it because it can actually fight and not get curbstomped
Since it didn't go into production and likely wouldn't have worked due to bouncing off of the limits of 1950's electronics, never? Unless they throw caution to the wind and add the Arrow as an even bird then it isn't happening.
spaded this recently, it was surprisingly fun once i got the performance upgrades, missiles are mostly just scare tactics but more importantly they didn't feel awful to use, they get and maintain a lock really well compared to other early radar missiles, even if they have no hope of actually hitting the target.
Good luck with the extractions! Personally, I was out of it for the evening I woke up, anesthesia is one hell of a thing but I made it through. I was stuck with milkshakes and mushroom soup for a while but do your best to avoid dry socket! Take no risks (I did after 4 days and didn't get dry socket but don't follow my example) and the antibiotics you take after surgery might do ya in too, good luck and do something funny before they knock ya out!
I remember how I was able to track ppl who were flying over the ground with Aim7s , for some reason Demon and Mig had their radars with PD on ))) despite having stabdart radars.
Those are truly horrendous. Was carrying them thru 20+ missions trying to make them work. I thik I had 2 kills. I have absolutely no issues in working with Aim9B radar variant, both C and soviet. They are feeble but they will net you regular kills. This thing however? Omg. Lee's right. Worse (proper) missile in WT hand's down.

Did you ever tried the vautour's matra 511? Because i didn't have this plane but i strongly doubt any Sparrow can be worst than the matra 511, the engine stays active for so long while barely pushing the missile that the only reliable kills are bombers. Anyone else when sees it coming do a little maneuvering and is all it takes to defeat it
The reason why the F-16A lacked AIM-7 in real life is because the light weight fighter mafia realized that the radar seeker technology wasn't mature yet, so it was better not to waste money to carry them. However later F-16 variants eventually equipped with the more modern versions as technology progressed.
Take your time getting back. Had 4 wisdom teeth being removed at once, with one being impacted. Those were a rough couple of weeks, be sure to have easy to eat food. Instant mash potatoes, mac and cheese and evening a milkshake but be sure to use a spoon and no straws

I think it also really depends on your dentist. I’ve been super lucky with my dentist, so getting my wisdom teeth out wasn’t too bad. The only thing that did kind of suck is that they originally planned to get all 4 out at once, but then only took 2 out in a single session because it was proving quite difficult…

If you play the Sabre, just drain its energy, it doesn’t accelerate that good and it doesn’t retain speed all that well from memory, and generally in a dogfight, the missiles are useless
Wisdom teeth removal, ugh. I had a strep infection the same time I got mine out. Woke up after the surgery noticing my throat was hurting a ton. Doctor I went to see about it (I was very convinced I had strep because I had just had it 4 months before and recognized the feeling very quickly) was very doubtful and was for some reason questioning me heavily on why my wisdom teeth were removed... cuz he has a problem with people getting them out for some reason. They did an overnight test and it was positive the next day :) screw that guy.

Most us planes aren’t good. Only good for boom and zoom but can’t do to poor clime rates. P51 can’t clime can’t turn can’t keep speed. The only p51 that can turn is at 6.3 and fights jets. And 50 cals aren’t very good and are very inconsistent in game for aircraft. Sometimes one shoting aircraft or doing no damage. And most us aircraft use 50cals, the few us aircraft that us 20 mm cannons can’t turn and have poor accuracy. Most other countries have cannons that over preform by having an explosive impact of a 100 pound bomb. Russia has extremely maneuver aircraft at most brs and almost always have cannons. They clime fast and retain speed. Plus Russian tanks in game are put at extremely low BRs and are op wile us tanks keep getting put at high and higher BRs

I've been pretty bored with Air RB lately, and decided to try getting an ace with both the R2Y2, and the ME 262 C2B. As much as the F3H isnt the *best* plane, it sure is annoying to try and counter swarms of supersonic aircraft that just start running trains on you.
Is it even fair to other sparrows to lump those in with the rest of them? I tried to make them work giving them the best possible conditions and in like 50 battles carrying 4, and I got one kill and hit one plane that was already destroyed. All other 100+ shots failed. It basically needs skin on skin contact to detonate but the guidance is completely not up to the task.
ive had my wisdom teeth removed its going to be alr you will be in a lot of pain for about 1 days the second day you get used to it and the 3rd you will have trouble eating but you will be able to talk on the 3rd all i did was just sleep a lot
The aim7-Cs would still be bad at 7.0 arb, it has a small burn time low turn rate, and the planes radar loses track all the time. The f3 is my 3rd favorite us built plane but it just sucks to play

On the other hand i once gotten a chase down kill on a mig -21 from like almost 3 km after i missclicked. That would mean that Aim-7c is consistently afful.
Don't want to scare you but I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth cut out. And it took me 2 months not to have any pain and I still have some nerve damage and can't feel a part of my lip. But I just have really bad luck when it comes to the dentist. So I am the horror stories you hear about when it comes to wisdom teeth. Hopefully you will be fine best of luck to you.

I love when Lee comes out with a video complaining about a plane the week after Defyn came out with the same plane and absolutely stomped with it
Wonder how well the missiles would do if you Lofted them say go up to 5k and then launch on people around 2-3k I think the missile might do better but who knows.
