Many thanks Andrew. *Apology* Oh dear what a blunderer I am. Alex Higgins was 61 when he died and not 51 as I stated! Aaaaaaaah! What was I thinking of? Best wishes from the Belfast Castlereagh hills.
Oh he was fast and furious Mike! Sorry for my very bad subtraction! *Apology* Oh dear what a blunderer I am. Alex Higgins was 61 when he died and not 51 as I stated! Aaaaaaaah! What was I thinking of?
Oh at his best he was a rocket. He had a very sad end. *Apology* Oh dear what a blunderer I am. Alex Higgins was 61 when he died and not 51 as I stated! Aaaaaaaah! What was I thinking of? Back to school for me then!
Tom, an absolute legend who I grew up watching on TV along with Steve Davis, Ray Reardon, Jimmy White, Dennis Taylor etc. A very understated grave that would be easy to miss unless looking for it.
Yes he certainly was a whizz on the table Gerry. I used to watch all these guys too back in the day. He is certainly yet another example of how the once mighty have fallen.
He went from earning millions on the World stage to walking around William Hill in Shaftsbury Square attempting to sell signed photographs of himself for a £5, a sad end.
It was indeed a very sad end to a previously brilliant, meteoric, snooker career. *Apology* Oh dear what a blunderer I am. Alex Higgins was 61 when he died and not 51 as I stated! Aaaaaaaah! What was I thinking of? I need to go back to school and relearn subtraction.
Gone But Not Forgotten 🎉❤God Bless 🙏

We'll never see the likes of him again Tom,he could be controversial but he had a style which was completely unique.
Absolutely unique Chris when he was at his peak.
