We were on the pitch that was in front of you when you started reversing. My mum & dad was on the one next door, sadly my dad passed away last year.. Really nice memories came flooding back watching this video...
Hi Dan, love this place, we haven’t been back for a little while but have been there 3 times now. Enjoyed a meal and a beer at the bar too. Sorry to hear you lost your dad. The memories will last forever. Take care, Helen & Dave 👍
Just got back from there Dave. We had a lovely little corner pitch, enjoyed eating at Barney’s and the dog walk. I did catch a few little fish but the lake needs a bit of a clean out as it’s full of leaves and muck. That’s my only criticism. The location was great and it was a lovely friendly sight 👍
Hi Lionel, we’ve had a few stays there and like you it ticked a load of boxes. Not a fisherman though but it’s good to get your feedback and I think there is a charge to fish, so that probably needs looked at. Glad you had a nice time. Thanks, Dave & Helen 👍
@@HelenandDave and barneys fish and chips bang on and the dog walk just outside the entrance was brilliant loads of wild life. We had a nightingale behind our caravan singing GREAT SONG. 🐦⬛
Hi Gary & Julie, great place and some good days out from there. Hope you enjoy your Motorhome travels. Thanks so much for watching. ATB, Helen & Dave 👍
Thanks for sharing this it’s on our list, it’s also the sort of site that first thing in morning you get to smell the cooking of bacon and eggs drifting across the site 😋 magic.
another little gem found and we pass there all the time on our way to the coast and never seen it! you always seem to find the ones we miss 😂😂 ,lovely looking site thanks for the site tour 👍
We’ve stayed twice on this site and can definitely add our recommendations. There is also a CL site attached for which you need to be a CMC member and these pitches are all fully serviced including picnic benches and tall hedges separating each of the five pitches, and their own dedicated washroom facilities etc.
Hi Michael, many thanks indeed for your comment and sharing your experiences too. We are due a visit back soon, we’ve not been for a couple of years now. Will check the CL area out. Take care, Helen & Dave 👍
Morning. Good to see how your car towbar looks on you kia👌 I think ours is going to be the same. Anyway great looking site and have to put that one on our list as well. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Paul and Sarah
Another really good site review guys , nothing but the best for you guys. Norfolk the county that just keeps giving. We have just spent a long weekend with the grandkids , brilliant but we are tired now 😂😂😂 They formed into a possie with the puppy and ever stopped. Thanks for sharing.
Yes but you know what they say, the great thing about grandkids is…… hope you had a great weekend and as always, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Cheers, Dave & Helen 🍻
You have tje wrong breakaway cable to attach to your towbar that one needs to hook on its self , if you want to hook cable onto your towbar you need the breakaway cable with the carbina clip
Lovely video here Helen and Dave. The site looks lovely. Is it caravans only as didn’t see any motorhomes? What motor do you tow with Dave? Really good review of the site and one I will add to my lists
Hi Dave, yeah there are a few Motorhomes on here, I hadn’t noticed until you mentioned because often I see more Motorhomes than caravans these days. Lovely site, thanks so much for watching. Cheers Dave & Helen PS Tow car is a Kia Sportage GT line automatic 👍
ha ha, actually it's not bad because you have to arrive after a certain time and you must leave by a certain time so you should never pass coming caravans/motorhomes etc and if any cars come, there is room for them to get out of the way. Once there, it's a wonderful site. :o)
@@HelenandDave thats right ,you will never pass a caravan or motor home….you might confront one though.. Joking aside ,ive always fancied Quarry fields in Crantock…but stayed away because of knuckle discolouration..
