Yes, the original 25 years ago was the best! I worked for one of the Stores in the early 2000’s I used this stuff in my late teens through the end of my 20’s! I have great skin my 40’s and I think it’s due to using all bare minerals products. Unfortunately when I tired 32, I stopped working for me, they must have changed their formula because it felt drying on my skin. The original formula was AMAZING!!
She needs the infomercials from the early 90s to learn you have to buff, tap and swirl haha Honestly, I’ve used their mineral veil and warmth for 20 years. Love their blushes and use to Like their stick concealer too
I'm in my 50s and I use bareminerals. I'm not a liquid makeup kinda girl, never have been. But when I discovered bareminerals over 10 yrs ago, I was impressed. It feels so light on my face and I don't feel or have that cake on feeling. I absolutely 💯 💯 love this brand. I just can't do all that liquid make up, baking and whatever else you younger ladies do, but I definitely will do bareminerals. My skin is flawless no blemishes and I only wash with dove soap and water. Hydrate my face with the OG oil of olay the pink one. That is it. Rarely had pimples or blemishes. I just love my skin routine and wouldn't change it for nothing. Hope you continue using bareminerals, you won't regret it😊 sorry so long. Just had a lot to mention. Take care and continue your awesome video .
That's when I started using it. It was about 1995, and I still won't use any other foundation. I've added their Complexion Rescue to my routine because I refuse to have wrinkles and I'll be 50 in a couple of years, but it's still my thing.
I'm old to and remember "discovering" trends before my time to. I remember the Bare Minerals era and really liked it, but wondered what happened to it....lots of missed opportunities there for product gurus to regenerate new brands and products with the Bare Minerals Concept. I like the way she did it with the triangle better than the brush...this is def a good thing for oily people, great job on this video ⚜️💜🎷☂️💚🎺🌂
I have been a Bare minerals fan for 10 years. I use the concealer to lightly set my liquid concealer and go over redness that pokes through my foundation. You can use the original powder foundation for the same coverage with more shades. 💕
Bare Minerals is the only makeup I ever liked. I am not a makeup girl and prefer a natural look. But they discontinued the color I used years ago. Buff it in and hit it with some setting spray and it melts into the skin.
Back before they did away with outside sales reps, my mom worked as one. The company she originally worked for was a skin care company that the OG owner Leslie Blodget bought & combined with her mineral makeup, Bare Minerals. I had every color of shadow they had. This was all the rage in the late 90's- early 2000's. Was so lightweight & didn't make me break out. Still some of the best. Use the nylon foundation/ concealer brushes to apply the concealer & the kabuki brush for the mineral powder foundation. I feel my age now😅😅😅
I hope you didn’t throw them away, their loose powder eyeshadow is still the best and it doesn’t go bad since it’s just minerals. I have over 40 colors in my collection and still use them.
Bare mineral is the very first foundation i have ever used, as a beginner it was easy to apply, color match was not so good but aah those days as a beginer when i started using makeup 13 years ago.
I started using this last year after a year of trying it a couple of times and not liking it, it had a learning curve for me, but now that I mastered the way to apply it, I don't use anything else but this concealer and the mineral foundation on top. Love BM, my holy grails are Complexion Rescue tinted hydrating gel cream, this bisque on the video and also the mineral foundation. I'm 46 and my skin looks fabulous after 10 years off using these few products... Plus a good skin care routine, of course.
Used it for years! Bare minerals is wonderful for oily skin folks! I can’t use it now bc I am to dry and it makes me look very dried out lol 😂 crusty ain’t a good look! But if you are oily believe it is a fabulous product!
@DeeMeg-gg2bn It's called Bareminerals Multi-Tasking Concealer. They also have an Eye Brightener which I use over the top of the concealer. I use this one like you would use a setting powder with a soft small brush under the eye. They work really well for me.
These are old. I used to be a bare Minerals gal back like 17-18 years ago. I first started with the makeup brand called, "Sheercover" similar to Bare Minerals. Then I upgraded to Bare Minerals for a few years. I had many of their products. It does provide a natural coverage, and it gave me a glow. I like that it's very light weight but it doesn't last long unless if you finish it off with setting spray. You're supposed to move the brush in a circular motion (lightly). You slowly build-up coverage by doing it two to three times until you achieve the coverage that you like.
She never said it was new - she was trying it for the first time. And because it's been out for a while, lots of people may not know about it or maybe forgot about it.
I have this and I love it! I usually wear it on days I want to look more natural or I wear it over top my normal concealer and it makes it look amazing and flawless. It's not to cakey looking and I highly recommend
BareMinerals was a game-changer for me when it was popular, and I’d happily try these products again. Frankly I just never see them at Ulta and Sephora so I didn’t know they were still cookin!
This is such an old product too. It’s pretty amazing when you get the chance to feel the texture and apply it. Use to recommend it to all my acne prone or oily skinned clients
Bare minerals was the first foundation i bought ! It was a little kit with the warmth, mineral veil, brushes... I still use the brushes theyre great for bronzing haha
I used Bare Minerals through much of the late 90s and early 2000s. It does perform pretty well if your skin is young and very smooth. I did notice that it creased around my eyes and made them look older even back then, though. It also irritated my skin quite a bit, mostly shortly after application, and then I would have some residual redness or itching if I used it more than a couple of days in a row, usually followed by a small breakout.
Try the Matte formula not the original; it doesn’t have the ingredient that causes the itching. I know what you’re talking about because it happened to me as well, I’ve been using the Matte version for over 20 years and no itching from it.
I’ve used this for the last 20+ years. I used it to cover my acne back in my teens and redness now. Use with their max coverage concealer brush, press/swirl the powder into the brush, tap then swirl it onto the skin clockwise AND THEN anti-clockwise.
I have to tell you it is gorgeous on top of foundation as a demi matte highlighter. I have had so many people compliment me when I remember to dust it on.
Girl you might not see this but I love ur vids and have watched for a hot minute and ur transformation is JAW DROPPING I'm actually so happy for you your doing great, you looked beautiful before and look gorgeous now, congrats 🎉👏
Been watching bare minerals infomercials since I was like 9!!LOL I'm so glad you did this, if it ain't broke don't fix it!! It Wowed me just like it used to! 🎉 ❤
Been using this for YEARS! I’m very oily and I have aging skin. It’s the best! Even better, it’s GREAT for touch up’s as well. Being able to touch up concealer is an industry game changer. I’m sad now that this new attention might mean that I may not be able to get my hands on it for a while 😂
I feel so dang old. These were all the rage back in the day. They covered my blemishes so well. Perfect for us oily girls!
Yea I was bout to say this is so 2004 lol
Your not old they're late lol 😂😂❤❤
I was thinking the same thing lol.
I’ll be 50 in May. I used this in my early 30s. I loved it. I should start using bare minerals again!
It’s not like she’s 12 she’s In Her 30’s most of us knew about this long ago

I love that BM feels like there’s NOTHING on the skin!! Honestly people need to get this brand 🫶🏼💕
Me too girl!
They test on animals! Do ur research
@@starward0997Womp womp
@@starward0997 sure that's bad but many brands do I'd still buy
So a buildable, medium-to-full coverage powder foundation. Basically like those 90's-2000's powder cake foundations, but in loose form. Got it.
Except it's a mineral loose powder concealer.
90s early 2000s are back. I'm all for it
Exactly! Loreal used to make them. Cakey as ever!! 😂😂😂
They are mineral so your skin feels good and it’s fitted my acne skin well
No way the ingredients are nothing alike. These are minerals definitely more light weight on the skin as well!🙂
I’ve used this for years. I’m old enough to remember when it could only be purchased on an infomercial 😂
Where has the time gone? 😅
LOL same! And then I felt super old when it made it to Ulta. Talk about witnessing the come up.
She needs the infomercials from the early 90s to learn you have to buff, tap and swirl haha
Honestly, I’ve used their mineral veil and warmth for 20 years. Love their blushes and use to
Like their stick concealer too
Yes. Leslie had the best makeup tutorials on the bare minerals website. She would break down all the steps for you.
Love the blushes!
Crap, you literally just flung me back into the 90s 😅😂

I love that line of make-up.
I've used it since 2005.
Same
I was born in 2005 😅
Same but she’s not applying it correctly
Mineral makeup has always been the best in my opinion. Buildable too.
Bare Minerals has been around for decades. My mom used it back in the late 90's. It used to be special mail order.
Damn I feel so old! I remember this lol
That's when I started using it. It was about 1995, and I still won't use any other foundation. I've added their Complexion Rescue to my routine because I refuse to have wrinkles and I'll be 50 in a couple of years, but it's still my thing.

It’s probably new to her and she’s just trying it out.

Right?! 😅 that was my first thought
Like ma’am, I used that in the ‘90s-2000s

You don’t even need concealer. Your skin is flawless!!!
This has been around forever.
Right

You just unlocked a memory for me! I remember when I bought the kit I was 17 and I forgot about that flat nylon concealer brush it was great !
I used their powdered concealer 20 years ago and it was awesome.

I remember watching youtube makeup tutorials back in 2011, I've seen a lot of beauty gurus used this back then.
I wish it has a color corrector for dark circles. It works for me as long as I use peach first. I like bareminerals make up.
They do
Great.. I ll look into it. I want a one step type of deal.

@@kimdenidawson7663 Thank you very much. I appreciate you!!!
Thank you!! I need to cover those puppies!❤
Compact powders with high coverage literally do the same thing (like the Loreal one)
No, it’s not the same at all. This powder concealer turns into a creamy formula when it hits the skin. I’ve been using it for decades.
@@ALT-vz3jn And this one has SPF protection too.
This is a really good concealer and so is the foundation. I get so many compliments on my skin
fuccccccckkkkkkkk! you look so amazing without makeup...you are soo beautiful!
I do see a difference but I think more so applied with the triangle puff. Looks natural. 💕
It's literally been around for ever and it is pretty good

Loreal used to have Mineral powder concealer that was so good....
I’ve been using bare minerals for 30 yrs🤣🤣🤣 gosh I’m old. It’s so good on the skin. Never had a break out. Brushes r the BEST! 😊
I used BM back in the day. The had infomercials and eventually made it to Ulta. I bought it when they had the intro sets for like $35/$40.
I've used Bare Minerals for 28 years. Bisque mixed with foundation is my go-to for intense coverage.
I love the triangle puff!! 🔺️ gives precise control ❣️
Please do not listen to these beauty influencers. This concealer has a literally been out for almost ten years so disappointing.
She never said it was new - she was trying it for the first time. And because it's been out for a while, lots of people may not know about it or maybe forgot about it.
It's an advertisement she didn't disclose was an ad. She got PAID to say nice things about it. Lmao
@@Astheywere fr 😂 she never does bad reviews. Red flag
it looks so natural ❤
An oldie but a goodie! Love bareminerals and it really was good for the skin ❤ looked better every time I took it off.
I have this and I love it! I usually wear it on days I want to look more natural or I wear it over top my normal concealer and it makes it look amazing and flawless. It's not to cakey looking and I highly recommend

Mineral foundation is fantastic for sensitive/problem skin.
BareMinerals was a game-changer for me when it was popular, and I’d happily try these products again. Frankly I just never see them at Ulta and Sephora so I didn’t know they were still cookin!
That’s beautiful i’d still go in with my elf concealer and then maybe set it with this but it definitely did a lil sumn sumn.
Gurl you just a perfectionist we trust you we love ❤️ thank you all you share
Omg I TOTALLY had the full Bare Minerals kit back in the day!! I had oily (teenage) skin when it was all the rage so it was perfect for me!!
This is such an old product too. It’s pretty amazing when you get the chance to feel the texture and apply it. Use to recommend it to all my acne prone or oily skinned clients
Yea. For the minimalist who wears light coverage. I'd buy this.
OG Classic ❤❤❤ Still use it and it still looks flawless
