I noticed you're using the 17 more than the 22. Any reason in particular for that? I just bought the 22 inch but am noticing it eats up a lot of the counter.
There are 3 reasons I mostly use the 17" and the space it takes up is one. Another reason is I find with the 22" griddle, the recovery time after putting food on it is longer than on the 17". For smaller cooks it isn't as noticable but I bought the 22" specifically because it was larger and I could cook more food. This is not to say that I dislike the 22" at all, because I still do like it. I usually crank the temp up high on either one at the start (when appropriate) to help compensate for the temperature drop. The final reason I mainly use the 17" is because when I bought the 22" I was still married and cooking for 3 people. Now it's just me so there's not much reason to break out the big one anymore. I keep thinking I need to use it soon just because it's been a while so maybe I'll do some cooking on it soon.
@@AllAmericanMack First - Thank you for taking the time to write back and so sorry to hear you're dealing with a split. Prayers with you. As for Griddle - I returned the 22 and got the 17. Considerably better - Quicker to heat, more even heat, more manageable space (the 22 felt like food was sliding around wherever the heck it wanted) Big fan of 17
Looks delicious!
