- Hi everyone in this video I can still chasing my leaks and I’m replacing the Bulkhead flap seals on my LR 110. I purchased the seals from EBay. I hope this video is helpful to someone so thanks for watching and enjoy.
sighs with longing at the way those pins came out.
Nice one Josh; when can I book mine in with you? ;-)
It’s on my list of jobs to do. Bought the seals just need a dry day. Water is dripping through from under the dash so I’ve bought the seals in the hope that might fix that leak.
Yeah it’s a good place to start buddy I think it stopped the majority of the leaking on mine.
Nice to see someone using the same steering lock as me 😅
Yeah it alright not the best, I would like to get a better one in the future.
@@JoshsLandyLife helpful video btw, only had my defender a couple months and doing all the small jobs the previous owner didn't

Our Defender TD5 has 4 slotted screws where you have bolts. What a ridiculous idea, you cannot get to these slots in these screws from the inside without removing the whole dashboard (no thanks!!). I am searching for a tool that will do it from the outside. Any ideas out there? My 1/4" ratchet and screw bit are too long to get behind the flap brackets. Good old Land Rover enjoys giving us a challenge!
Oh really 🤔 that’s odd, I’ll ask around about a good tool for the job.
And yeah good old Landy’s
Did it stop the water leaking through, or just reduce the amount coming in?
Just reduce it. I thought had cured it for a while then the dreaded drip started again.
It took me four hours to do last summer 😂
I think I got lucky with my pins, I’ve heard they can be a right pain.
