Bravo! This violin sonata(#3)is one of the most difficult sonata that I couldn’t manage very well, so I gave up when I was in school long time ago. But it stays with me and regret why I didn’t try harder . Luckily my son who plays bass (amateur) arrange it beautifully himself and played for me. I was very impressed and happy that I could hear it again. Shame on me.!
Well, I think there are general tips that can help most people: 1- Practice very very slowly to generate muscle memory 2- Listen carefully to Burton's original version to analyze his phrasing 3- Practice with a metronome to reinforce your internal tempo 4- Have a good technical routine 5- Sing everything you play to phrase naturally 6- To better focus your attention divide your study into small fragments All this can be of help to start
