      Yeah. Finding a needle in a haystack will take forever, sure, but it's just hay.
      Finding a piece of hay in a needlestack, however, will take forever, but you'll also stab yourself many times.

    @7:36 Actually, freezing ground beneath water or when the ground is wet is done in real life sometimes to dig a pit or tunnel without water leaking in and eroding the walls. Once you build your basement or tunnel walls, you turn off the cooling and let the ground settle in against it.

    i hope you got to use this as part of an actual assignment. you know one of those ones where they ask, "hey. try to apply our very specific type of science to real life." I definitely had those as filler assignments in my fluid dynamics labs

    This was a rather smart video by using real life analytical strategies to determine the difference between dirt and the dirtiest dirt and how we can spot it. Well done.

    This is a really neat idea!
    Map makers that want to block progression very strictly could use The Dirtiest Blocks to allow the player to dig with a shovel to access new areas, without letting them use the blocks in any other way, provided you can’t actually place down this pet object.

    started a new world the other day when the update came out and like within 10 min found “The dirtiest block” and just put in in a chest and found out a couple days later that it’s super rare so that’s pretty cool

    Now that makes a whole lot of sense now why you was so interested in dirt, since i was not major in it, all i remember doing is trying to form dirt rings in class to physically examine properties of different soils, and sifting rocks and soil, and looking at different colored soil and trying to tell it apart, was fun
    Actually i see why you had so much fun with a dirt block
