@@MobileMusicPro thanks bro for the help , but i didn't get the solution yet, I want to record a midi file from a third party vst plugins like sampletank along with cubasis inbuilt sounds too. I can play sounds of sampletank but could not be able to record cubasis sounds ,as I am getting sampletank sounds too, how do i mute that sounds permanently, ? I can't go everytime and mute sampletank because by doing that ,I could not hear what I've recorded from sampletank .practically its annoying if I do record sampletank and export them everytime. Pl help. 🙏
@@teenu2123 So you have to understand what's happening, sampletank is NOT an auv3 app and therefore must be connected via audiobus or IAA, in either case the app will be in stand alone mode and open alongside Cubasis, which means if you have a track in cubasis currently armed it will play both cubasis and sample tank because they're both open. So the only choice is to record your midi first, and then have that midi play sampletank, and then have sampletank recorde back into cubasis. I have a livestream where I used an app like this, it wasn't sampletank but the process to record sample tank would be the same. ua-cam.com/video/bmspgzOtEJU/v-deo.html

One question - I apply the channel strip to a voice track, and I hear it working, but the compressor diodes (five green ones) are not activated (not lit), though the compressor is activated. Though again, I hear that all is fine and dandy (compressor itself working). Any thoughts on this?
Hey Burn1, it's not quite as stable as Cubasis 2 yet but after the recent 3.2 release it's good enough to where I no longer find myself reaching for Cubasis 2 anymore.

You may want to pull down the threshold for the compressor to start working.

Not sure I understand your question, if you bypass the channel strip then none of the effects on the channel strip will work.

Didnt find the input volume on Cubasis 3 on iphone when recording the band, it was a little too hot. Where is it?
Should be in the settings screen, under the audio tab, should be labeled "Input Gain".
