Loved it guys. As always, bringing the humour and wahey straight into the gutter Sue, proud of you! Missing ya both, looking forward to the next Herd meet. 😁
Just brilliant, you be a fantastic pair, just missing the , ucking hell! Calinder goddess. 36 minate in, some deliightful shot. your just utter stunners, Cheers XXX
Re-watch of this as I did the same two last Thursday with a couple of friends, also from Wasdale Head but we came down the way you went up, as we did 'Killer' Kirk first. I loved your optimism at the start "yep Great Gable, Kirk Fell and then Pillar....maybe a couple of more too if we have the time" 😳. Loved the fact you got a brilliant sunny Kirk Fell summit, hated the fact you went down the nose, you could not pay me to do that, so pleased you got down injury free, although shook up. Total resect and admiration for you both, that was a brute of a day! Cheers Alan
We always start with the grandest of plans 😁😬💪💪 and we never learn. It was a fantastic day, until that descent, it was brutal, and very memorable (the foul language alan would have even made you blush) 🤣😆. Thanks for watching friend 👍👍
Great vid girls! Looking to start exploring lakes....being a Peaks regular...this looks like a good place to start. Lots of 'Fells' up their which after seeing you gives us a clue of what to expect! Reccomend OS maps phone app by the way...brilliant to use offline when no signal aswell. Until battery goes anyway! Thanks as always for sharing your walk giving us all inspiration, entertainment and a good laugh!👍
Great hike and two great peaks, the mountains and not the…🤣. I did the same route the same time last year. I did Kirk fell first and summited from the back end. No chance I wanted to go up the route you came down. I think the direction you took was more challenging. Glad you had views from Great Gable as I was cloud bound. Keep up the good work and making it fun 👍🏻😉
Reet ya couple of leg ends.... Those frisky Guiness looking cows look as if they're enjoying themselves 🙈 Nice views from the top, looking over wastwater.... And your steaks looked nice, until the salad came into shot , or was that just for the cameras benefit 😜😜 Catch you both soon, have a good week 😁😁
As soon as you said Pillar i thought, Nope, I did it from Gatescarth and over Fleetwith Pike and had to scrap Haystacks, Worth doing though, Also have a look at "Water to Go" bottle" save humping all the water with you, literally top up as you go from streams/tarns/puddles, instant filters to clean drinkable water, game changer on big hill days, Andy
It was way over ambitious but we still have it on the to do list. We both have water to go bottles 👍👍 good piece of kit, when you remember to re-order the filters in time for your trip 🙄🙃
Well hello ladies 👋👋 nice to see you back in fine fettle 👍 Your videos never disappoint always funny 🤣🤣🤣 On a serious note your future purchase of a kayak will be a two seater? When you mentioned about putting on the roof of the car I guess it's wood or fiberglass? I have seen some folk with the two seater inflatables not the cheap ones mind you, oh no🤨 Good luck in your hunt a recreational craft for the water 🤞 I look forward to your next adventure atb Taff 🤠👊👊
Another great adventure! Amazing views and hardly anyone else about. Those scree slopes are pretty hard going though. But worth it! Looking forward to the next one.
Happy Birthday Sam ! looks awesome definetly a place I'd like to explore more of.woooo that was a huge herd OMG!Good on you girls stunning views and beautiful views.I gotta stop half way food has arrived lol ....to be continued😁😋
A shame you didn't drop down to the gap between Kirk Fell and Pillar as the path then down to the valley is really nice. When you do the big P do it via the High level route, its one of the best routes in the lakes, amazing.
The price you pay for long legs...the steaks were fantastic and it is always 'Steak Saturday' in out house! Got to say that was some ambitious program of Fells you had planed but real pleased you got to Great Gable and got a view because (on a clear day), I think that is the best view in Lakeland. Very confident but not Place Fell, which is on Ullswater - you not bad, just excited on a great days walking, which was great to see, loved the optimism about the Kirk Fell decent and then on to Pillar. When it cleared and the sun broke through it was an amazing 360, so pleased that you got that. Superb effort on Kirk Fell and 'what a view' oh and yes, what a view for the Herdwicks on Kirk Fell too lol! That was a brutal decent and good to see you both got down safely, with only a couple of tumbles, which was bad enough. Very well deserved drink and a nice steady day canoeing and swimming on Coniston. I was there the following day climbing the Old man of Coniston and never got a view on 5 summits die to the thick mist! Been looking forward to this one and it did not disappoint, well done to you both and Happy Birthday! Cheers Alan
It was ambitious we quickly realised, but we are starting to get our bearings after this one and it's always gonna get done one day. It was a beautiful day for it Metalman and we absolutely loved it. Until it was time to make our way down it was not a pleasant journey down as you could tell from my face ☹😆 and it took us all week to recover, our knees did not thank us for that. We missed you again Metalman, we always think of you when we visit the Lakes, and one day (we've always said it) we shall see you rocking up in the distance! 🤘🤘 thanks for still watching us learn the hardway. Take care
Hi. Sam and Sue. Love your vlogs. So you want a kayak. Mmmm. May I suggest that you look at some of the inflatable kayaks, they are very stable and reliable, transportation is a lot easier as well. They will fit in the boot of a small car. Or maybe even a SUP inflatable board. Anywho whatever you get just enjoy the outdoors life, rambles, scrambles, wild camping. Cheers. Tat-Tar.
Thanks David, already got an inflatable canoe and not a fan. Looking for single kayaks that will also take to the sea. We have some adventures ahead of us, thanks for your support 🙂😀
brilliant ya back 😁 i was out with my walk mucker the other day when he asked me where i had got "onwards" from, been saying it a lot over the last few walks, so i told him i had caught it off these 2 daft women i follow on youtube, his reply was that explains it 😂 any way epic vid as always, heres to many more.
Have you watched girl outdoors channel, she has just put some videos on using a pack raft up in Scotland, she also done a review video of it earlier in the year just after she bought it, it looks quite a strong raft, if you are interested it might be worth watching.
Loved it guys. As always, bringing the humour and wahey straight into the gutter Sue, proud of you! Missing ya both, looking forward to the next Herd meet. 😁
Epic hike, definite nutters but a great vlog. Awesome.

Thank you 😆😂 It was a scary route down but luckily we had a great day with spectacular views and the pub was at the bottom 👍👍 thanks for watching.

We scraped the salad off once the photo was taken, added the chips obviously. 😁🤫 cheers dave 👍 👍
nice views towards Buttermere...i think you will find that Haystacks was the little one with High crag and the High stile ridge the big one.

Think we are going for single kayaks. Something seaworthy. Already got an inflatable canoe and not feeling it. Watch this space 👍👍thanks for watching

Cheers for watching Graham. Onward!
That kirk fell route is horrendous, did it after a wild camp at styhead tarn, couldn't walk for a week afterwards
Glad someone else feels our pain, we took a week to recover from that descent too! Thanks for watching Chris 👍 👍

I have seen that, not keen on the installer idea though. I've got an inflatable canoe, not used it yet. Thanks for watching.
