There's nothing wrong with turning back in bad conditions girls, the Cheviot will be there forever to try again.
Loved seeing Whitley Bay lighthouse again. Happy new year. Keep them coming

Hello and nice to see you visiting Geordie land. I used to live next to Whitley Bay light house its a lovely part of the coast line to visit. As you found out the Cheviots can be a very windy place indeed. Shame I missed you both to say hello. Your teeth look great Sue. Really enjoyed watching. Atb Steve 👍

Would be good it the cottage on the moors could be made water & wind proof as a emergancy shelter if needed .

Happy New Year ladies, that looked such a beautiful forest walk. Really enjoy your videos, I’m usually a silent watcher 😅. It reminds me of the hike up through the forest to Ben Venue. Waterfalls, trees and stunning scenes.
Ah the Cheviot, my home 🏡. She’s a harsh mistress when she wants to be and you had a bad day. Fortunately she isn’t going anywhere so will be there when you return.
17:49 lovely backdrop for a chit chat. Thank you for bringing such wonderful content 💗🥾

Hi Girls that building at the top of Oaking Cluff used to be used as a Shooting and Game keepers cabin , sad to see it trashed
when I went in it in the 70s it was full of long benches and tables , enjoyed the vlog brought back memories ATB !

It's a beautiful walk! A comment below has informed us the cottages were for shooting, unfortunately the vandals had been in but its still a handy shelter. Thanks for watching 👍👍

Yep you certainly went off at a few tangents but you made it back to the car so win win, If i do you another one i'll do it in thick Red track. I started from Wyming brook top car park and did it anti clock wise, turn Left at the bottom gate if missing out Rivelin Rocks on the other side of A57. Andy

To be fair we got directed away from the carpark andbour starting point, and the res paths were mostly closed off. We had a great day though and definitely found a route that was new to us. We just need to get the nobbly rock! 🤣😆
