I understand the positive side, but words are meant to accurately express thoughts and intentions. In this case, the person is not simply sharing an opinion-they are questioning why I treat my body this way, telling me what I ‘have to’ do, and calling parts of my body ugly. That crosses a line. Keep in mind, this is my body and my choice. While they say ‘love to you,’ that doesn’t automatically transform the rest of their message into something purely positive. True respect comes from not imposing one’s beliefs on others or judging personal choices in the first place.

Hi Malaysian here, is good to see a traveling video about Brunei. A hidden gems and very underrated among South East Asia countries. I live near Kuala Lumpur and many of us here respects Brunei and consider them as one of our siblings.
I'm from brunei! Hands down one of my favourite vlogs here so far! Thank you so much for your kind words, means a lot to me 👍🏽 And yes, I’m looking forward to visiting Brunei again as a friend some day ❤️👌🏼 Hope to meet you :)
Heyy, Bruneian here! I love seeing tourist visiting since we dont get that many and interacting with them and hearing their story is so fun. Please feel welcome to visit again! 🙏

I am so glad that you're willing to travel to my country. It is the least country that people would go by since not all knows that Brunei exist. Everytime people ask me where I'm from, I kinda have to explain where it is because most of them thinks that it's part of Arabic countries 🤣 It is a peaceful country, we don't really judge how you look like. I personally don't judge too. I know there will be people staring at you because of the tattoos, but that's okay. They're just impressed by your tattoos 😂 I hope you love our local food here! haha
Hey! Thanks for the comment, you know what? I understand you very well when you say that you have to explain where you are from 😅 I had the same in Russia: I was born in a small town that no one knows about, and when I moved, everyone asked where I was from and it was hard to explain 😂 So I feel for you 😅🤝
@Roman_onboard yeah, no problem! hahaha I'm glad that we have the same situation on that part 😂 it's like tiring to explain it over and over again, and yet you still want them to know the place where you live so they can have an interest to the place. Haha. I hope you could visit here again, maybe I could show you some places 😄

The only long 40+ min video I've ever watched, I truly enjoy watching your video! I'm glad you had a great time in Brunei. Few tourists visited Brunei compared to other ASEAN countries, which is understandable prolly due to the misconception of the strict Sharia Law, lack of entertainment/places to go shopping and stuffs. BUT for those who seeks solitude, peace, calmness , looking to escape the rush hour pace of life I personally think Brunei is the place for you. I'd recommend renting a car and drive around the whole Brunei (it's a small country so why not), easier to explore restaurants, cafes, all those homebased restaurants and cafes. I personally think that's the main highlights here, foods and coffees 😂
I’m glad you enjoyed the whole video 👍🏽🤝You're right, Brunei has a unique charm. I'd love to visit again and explore more of its local cuisine. Thanks for the tip about the car, I haven’t though about it 🤔 Next time I’ll do that 👍🏽

Amongst all the travel videos I've seen so far, this video is the most unique, respectful and humanely. The best part about you as a traveler is that you not only did made some research before coming, you even made effort to pronounce the names right, which so far its almost perfect the way you said it. When I said its unique was due to the fact that you genuinely admitted that you did not do enough research on the opening hours especially on Friday on why shops were closed during that period, which is surprising there isn't a single tourist or visitor I know wouldn't be mad at that. Although I wish Brunei had more accessibilities on things for emergencies, which unfortunately we did not provide enough and I am sorry for that on behalf of my country. Secondly when you lost your phone on the taxi, you didn't immediately panicked and went on straight to the hotel and asked the receptionists to call the taxi driver to return it. I have nothing but full praises for you for being mature and again, respectful. Thank you for visiting our beloved country despite all the rumors you heard. We Bruneians will always welcome the world with open arms and we will offer the best hospitalities we can provide, and I'll apologize again on behalf if we can't deliver everything.
23:00 one of the best things about traveling is meeting all the kind and thoughtful people who also are just curious and happy to see you in their country!
And the history is amazing too 1. We have the biggest amusement park in the world called Jerudong Park 2. Michael Jackson have done a world tour here 3. We have 29 kings 4. The first king is Sultan Muhammad Shah 5. The current king is Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah 6. We used to be the biggest trading port in history 7. We achieved the Golden Age 8. We found oil (now the factory is in Seria, Kuala Belait) 9. We found cutch 10.All the legends in brunei such as Jong batu is real (the jong batu is in the river at BandarKuCeria) 11.we have the biggest water village in the world 12. We used to be the biggest country in borneo 13. We gave parts of our country to some parts of the world (thats why its small) 14. The Village head was the back in the 19 centuries was the first person in the foundings of islam 15. The Village head was the first person in Brunei to be a Muslim 16. The name "Darussalam" in our country's name means "Abode of Peace" I hope you would enjoy spending time in our country, brunei🇧🇳 I will soon edit more things about brunei. I hope you're really happy to be here. As a bruneian, i love tourists as much as i love the people here. ❤
Locals stay out of the heat of the day. That's why it's very quiet during the times you were filming. You're more likely to see more people out and about on the streets after 4 pm. Regarding driving time from labu immigration ( temburong district) to the sg tujuh border (Belait district) it will take you about 2 to 3 hours if you'll go within legal speed limits on the fastest route. Thank you for visiting.
Another exciting adventure Roman ❤. What an amazing country, people and architecture. My anxiety kicked in the moment you said you left your phone in the taxi. Because that happened to me abroad as well and nobody even bothered to helped me. You are very lucky people in Brunei are very kind, helpful and honest and your phone was returned ASAP and even refused to accept anything as a reward. But instead, he even volunteered to be your guide and host you to dinner with his family at his parents' house. That's remarkable! PS. Your mom is a very intelligent woman. Her wisdom is impeccable.
Hello, Mags 👋 I always feel like I’m sooooo lucky wherever I go, as if I don’t even deserve that degree of luck 🍀😅. I know it’s not as simple as just pure luck, but I like to think of it that way. Thanks for the kind words about my mom-I’ll make sure to give her the credit!
@Roman_onboard This is a testament that humility really goes a long way. People reciprocate to the way you treat them. Stay safe and watch out for those Crocs 😁

i never thought russia lookin like cradle of fill. 👨🏻🎤awesome videos buddy, no secret to be honest, you are the 1st guy who visited to brunei and said da nicest things. I guess bruneian ppl 've improved their treatment. And one youtuber also from india is loving brunei. And thee otha youtuber find it little bit underwhelming, cant tell you who he is☺
About 80% of videos I have viewed was very positive. The travel loggers enjoyed their time in Brunei, especially the ones who are into nature and wildlife, and the adventurer types, who enjoyed their time at Temburong National Park.
For daily necessities like food or stuff for cooking SKH, Pertama Jaya, or Soon Lee offer more affordable prices compared to Hua Ho Department Store. oh welcome to Brunei 😊
I loved how you connected with locals on your trip! Nothing beats learning from them directly. And hey, keep up the training; it's awesome! Btw...don't worry about people staring; you just look amazing.
Very very enjoyable video! I didn't even skip any second. Thank you for choosing Brunei as your Travel vlog and our people doesn't let us down too. but sorry when you have problem with communicating with the shop lot foreign people when you lost your phone.
Hope you enjoyed your stay in Brunei! Come back again someday during the Brunei's National Day Celebration. All the best on your channel and your travels
This is a perfect prove to the haters wrong cuz i have seen people talking rumors about my country and i am going to KL Malaysia any places u guys recomend 🤔🤨🧐
I heard negative opinions too, but every time I asked clarifying questions, I realized that these opinions were not based on personal experience but on information from the media. That's why I wanted to get my own experience and came to Brunei. And after visiting myself, I’m like an "abassador" of Brunei, telling everyone I meet about how amazing this country is and dispelling their fears 😅
But we can understand cuz we study english so we also have hard time learning ur language too but around 95% we can perfectly speak english so u dont have to worry
@Roman_onboard That's great to hear! Every tourist is a friend of Brunei and always welcome here. Next time you visit, I highly recommend checking out the Eco Corridor and experiencing Bandarku Ceria, a lively event filled with fun activities, food stalls and a vibrant atmosphere! 🤗

Thank you for visiting our beloved country despite all the rumors you heard. We Bruneians will always welcome the world with open arms and we will offer the best hospitalities we can provide, and I'll apologize again on behalf if we can't deliver everything.
Thank you for joining on brunei, and I leave at brunei too and born at brunei, one thing be safe

What a beautiful place and people. Definitely on the list of places to visit.
Thank you for the video. 🙏🏼 Peace from Australia 🦘🌏
Cheers to Australia 🇦🇺❤️ Glad you enjoyed the video ☺️
Thank you Roman to show the real Brunei 🇧🇳 Hopes u had a good time here in Brunei. Most Bruneian are very welcoming. Wish you all the best.
Thank you so much! Yes, it’s one of my favorite trips so far ❤️
Thanks for the info, I’ll keep that in mind for my next trip 👍🏽

And thee otha youtuber find it little bit underwhelming, cant tell you who he is☺
I’m not sure that I fully understand all of your expressions because of my poor English, but thank you for the comment, man 😅👌🏼
We dont hate russia since putin is scary, respect
About 80% of videos I have viewed was very positive. The travel loggers enjoyed their time in Brunei, especially the ones who are into nature and wildlife, and the adventurer types, who enjoyed their time at Temburong National Park.
For daily necessities like food or stuff for cooking SKH, Pertama Jaya, or Soon Lee offer more affordable prices compared to Hua Ho Department Store. oh welcome to Brunei 😊
Hello, thanks for the welcome ☺️👌🏼
Thank you and welcoming to our country ❤🥰🇧🇳, if we knew you are here mybe we can bring you walk around 😁👍🏻

Hey, thank you so much! Will definitely be happy to come back 🇧🇳👍🏽
thank you for the video ❤
This is a perfect prove to the haters wrong cuz i have seen people talking rumors about my country and i am going to KL Malaysia any places u guys recomend 🤔🤨🧐
Well...i recomend for u to go to the mall, jerudong park, rimba garden and more ❤😊❤😊
I heard negative opinions too, but every time I asked clarifying questions, I realized that these opinions were not based on personal experience but on information from the media.
👍🏽
This video warms my heart, thank you!
Thanks, bro, I’m happy that the video touched you 👍🏽
Come and visit Brunei again in the future! 🥳❤
With pleasure! Looking forward to visit again some day, because first time I came as a stranger, and now I feel like I’m a friend there 👍🏽☺️
@Roman_onboard That's great to hear! Every tourist is a friend of Brunei and always welcome here. Next time you visit, I highly recommend checking out the Eco Corridor and experiencing Bandarku Ceria, a lively event filled with fun activities, food stalls and a vibrant atmosphere! 🤗
Terima kasih 👍🏽🤝
I love how cars give space to each other , also in parking.
And all the drivers always let me cross the road, gesturing that I’m welcome to go ahead 👍🏽
