Hey everyone! This was our last video in Brunei!! Just as a quick note, there's not many videos left from South East Asia 👀👀 so get ready for a crazy rest of the year!! Subscribe if you haven't already and put the notification bell on so you don't miss a video!! See you in the next one!
still waiting for pakistan ...
I'll be there one day! 👀
@@josieliftsthings Please come to visit Sarawak and Sabah. You won't miss the chance to observe various ethnic backgrounds.
@@josieliftsthings great to hear that... lots of love tc sister💖💕
I did on my first trip to Borneo. There’s videos on my channel back in 2022 😁🙏☺️
The country might not be as modern as other Asian countries, but Bruneians are really good at communicating in English. I find that most of the people in this video can understand and speak the language, which will make it easier for foreigners and tourists to interact. Salute! 😄
They are modern but didn't need a big city course population in Brunei are very small even not half million people
I definitely need to visit Brunei next year. The mix of culture, nature, and friendly locals sounds amazing!🇧🇳
It's a second language in Brunei.
U should bro.. Make video here hehe@@InvestedAdventure
HII I'm one of the girls you hung out with in Jerudong Park. (The one who asked for you to be my mother🥲 and is wearing a black shirt) I really enjoyed hanging out with you and i appreciate our bonds together! I hope you enjoyed Brunei and made it memorable 💝
elaiza
???
Are u filipino?
You're lucky to be from Brunei
Don't trust this UA-camr. She is fake. Her other video is full of hate for Islam and Muslims.
You are asking a total stranger to be your mother???😂😂😂
Brunei is a place for those who enjoy slow living, enjoy good foods and bath in pristine nature.
Those who want entertainment, esp. busy nightlife, Brunei is for sure not for you. Thus, some find the country boring.
Anyway, thank you guys for coming here. Its also great to hear you had a great time.
I want to live there
That is sooooooo true
The kids are so much of positivity . By looking at them made me smile 😊. Beautiful Brunei ! Thanks for sharing this lovely video 💙
The right word for that country is "peaceful" not "boring"
This stir's the heart with so much emotion of Love from the people of Brunei and yours in return. Thanks.
Really lovely people ☺️
Brunei people are so incredibly friendly, hello from Singapore!
Watching you cook with the locals was heartwarming. It’s amazing how welcoming and friendly the people are in Brunei. I haven't been to Brunei, but I've had similar experiences in other Southeast Asian countries I've visited. As a fellow travel vlogger, I know how special it is to capture these moments. 👌
I can see it first hand that they are proud to be Bruneians. Even the non-Bruneians, they talk proudly about this country too. I can see how happy they are with the country and the King! I’m in Brunei now and I love everything here.
Amazingly GREAT video! Loved the warmth, laughter, friendliness of the people and your interactions with them- so uplifting. Would definitely consider going to Brunei after watching this. Thank you for the insights into a country I really didn't know anything about. Loved it!
Thanks! Definately worth a visit! Friendly people and looks like some great stuff to see and do and eat!!
It’s so good to see a side of Brunei only the locals usually see! Thank you! ❤❤
Another great one! I can feel the warmth of Brunei people through the screen, seems powerful enough to turn an introvert to an extrovert!😆 Can’t stop laughing through the whole video!
Josie and Michael May your adventures continue to be so much darn fun❤🦦
Bruneians, please know that Tumpi, Nasi Katok and Satay Urat is uniquely yours. Even if we Malaysians could find, we would have to hunt for it. And that would be only in Sarawak?
So please please please, give more light into it!
As a half Bruneian I am tired of eating nasi katok coz I mean there are everywhere in the country. Sorry just my thoughts!! No offense !!😂😂
@@natasyajames6928 what? Tired of nasi katok? That's blasphemy! LOL!!
@@BeyfighterFarisNasi Katok is everywhere here even in my school canteen 😭
@@user-zg9fo6tr4i yet my favourite is the one nearby the airport. Anggerek Desa was it? The one with many sambal
@@BeyfighterFaris I heard that place before...

_To know a country, we must know the people, their cultures and believes. Never believe the mainstream media tells you._
I like enjoying your channel Josie true Brunei people so freindly salam ❤ menyapa to you all from Jkrta
Actually attended during the national day. Still couldn't forget that I woke up SO EARLY I think around 3 am and came there around 4 am but it was jam packed. Even food vendors were there already. During the previous years, I don't really wake up that early so this year's celebration definitely was special 😆
Watching your vid really reminds me of that day
thanks for coming back to brunei.. and my niece is there nayli wkwkwkw so sweet
Hy.. I'm from Brunei.. thanks for visiting our country..love you, i hope you happy when you in Brunei..❤❤❤
Thank you for visiting Brunei. I hope you enjoy your visits ❤
Those st.george's students are awesome&adorable!
Hi Josie. I am Bruneian. I have lived my whole life here. I have only recently studied abroad in Western Australia for 3 years now (Currently in the final year of my undergraduate degree). One thing I learned about studying abroad is my country is unheard of in Western Australia, even to some of my Southeast Asian friends. Having someone like you to explore my country and learn about the culture and tradition brings me great joy and happiness. I hope many more will get to know Brunei :)
Thank you for sharing👍👍
1 of the best places, went there in 2003, so good ❤❤❤
Roti Kosong is similiar with roti chanai. In Malaysia we also call Roti Kosong. Roti Kosong means Basic Roti Chanai. Kosong means zero, basic.
Bruneians you guys are lucky. Very nice country
Hello Josie and Michael 🎎🇦🇺🇦🇺 Nice Tour video in Brunei.Brunei people are looking like Chinese it might be due to South Chinese Sea ⛵ connectivity and I think Migration of Chinese in Brunei might have been happened in Past.In Goa, India, Portuguese people have lived and still now Goa people are connected to Brunei is one of the member countries in ASEAN(Association of South East Asia Nations)
2:17 I wish they brought you to eat Tumpi at Fayze Jaya. Bruneians need to know that Tumpi is uniquely Bruneian. I'm from KL and til today I miss it! Tumpi and Satay Urat.
No, you can't get satay urat in Malaysia.
Tumpi is from Brunei? Thought they were originally from Indonesia
@@natasyajames6928 That's tumpik. Totally different. I believe at most it might be Bornean cuisine. We from peninsular of Malaysia has never had it before
Brunei is a wealthy country and The Sultan of Brunei is the second richest monarch. What is greatly admired about Brunei is that the government prioritizes the prosperity of its people rather than constructing less important things just for show-off, unlike some countries that build luxurious places but unable to provide free and quality education, causing students from low-income backgrounds to be unable to continue their studies simply because they cannot afford to pay, leading to the withholding of examination certificates.
Like your video. Please come again to Brunei. Visit all the districts.
Love you from Jupiter from India
Such a wonderful❤
Anwar’s such a great person
You just met with some of the famous people!! 😂 That’s Keeran Janin 😮
When I heard from your previous vlog that you wanted to travel to Brunei again, I was so excited to meet you, but when you did come to Brunei this year, I missed you! Didn't get to bump into you during National Day and the other days :( But I guess I should be hopeful for another trip to Brunei someday..?🫣
I'm really glad you and Michael had a really good time! I hope to hear more of DJ Josie on Kristal FM next time on the radio~
Awww thats laugh❤❤
Anyone know where they had their breakfast?
Those kids following you were so cute 😂
They were the cutest 😂😭😭

Hello ... welcome to Brunei😍
Brunei is a Amazing

Greetings from brunei👋
20:38 hahahaha yes no yes no bnr durg ni.
roti kosong means there is nothing in it except the gluten dough. You can add egg n call roti telor.
❤❤❤❤
Honestly, as someone from a place that’s over touristed, the best thing I can wish for the people of Brunei, is that people don’t visit there and it doesn’t become a tourist destination.
Tourism is destructive to the places cursed to draw people to it & tourists feel entitled to that destruction & their disrespectful behavior and attitude simply because they “contributed to the economy”, most tourists aren’t like you guys, unfortunately.
Please do visit northeast nagaland too
its monsoon come to western ghats of INDIA ❤
Okay, I am sold. Going there on my upcoming trip to Malaysia. Anyone know the Visa process?
Comeback to kampong sungai bunga theres the place i live😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
