I like how some diy sketchbooks you do this 1. Tear from sketchbook 2. Put together 3. Brand new sketchbook (no offense)
Lmao I felt that way when I made this sketchbook. But I wanted to have a more travel friendly sketchbook so the large one made some sacrifices lol!
I know this is a year old (sorry), but to be fair (at least in my case) I have a lot of spiralbound sketchbooks that were gifts from family or friends, and I personally don't like spiralbound anymore. I much prefer being able to draw across the book on both pages uninterrupted. So to me, reusing a spiralbound's paper to make my own sketchbook is both fun, and means those spiralbound books don't just get left in a drawer somewhere forever unused, especially because some of them have pretty good paper :>
@@sketch8433 I completely agree, I just thought it was funny
The pokemon background music tho 😁👏 thank you!
I love this sound track :3

Thank you! I love my new sketchbook :)) I might do a sketchbook tour when it’s completely filled in :3

It’s very satisfying to get a nice result too!

This DIY is so cool !!! I think that I’m gonna use it ! It seems simple ;0;
Good job ! ✨
Thanks! I hope you give it a try! I have made a few new once since posting this video and they always turn out pretty neat :3 you can use regular Elmer’s glue too if you don’t have wood glue!
SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!
THANK YOU 😭
You do arts AND crafts 😍. How cool!
Rachel Breece thank youuuu

I love how u showed it with glue instead of sewing the bind part or whatever that's called😂
Yeah! I used wood glue on the spine! I guess bind is another word for the process lol idk 🤷🏻♀️
artist yea spine, that's the word I was looking for😂
@@izzy-vw3xu glad I could help lol!
artists hehe ya
artists hehe yea
I will try this it seems fun😁
epic style
Do I have to fold my paper pages? I've got some paper sheets that are the size of what I want my sketchbook to be, but I can't fold them.
Good question! I have actually made a tiny sketchbook with unfolded pages, and it worked just fine! I just made super sure all the pages were perfectly lined up before adding the glue :)
Oh...yh I made my own also
Thanks for the vid btw nice my siis elizabeth vilo
I love this😍
Awe thanks ^_^
Is wood glue much better than ordinary glue?
Not really! I’ve used both wood glue and elmers glue on separate books and both work just fine!:)
does it have to be wood
glue
It doesn’t have to be, but I just wanted to try it out. I’ve actually used regular elmers glue before and it worked fine! You just have to add more layers to the spine between coats :)
@@Jenasketchbook thank you, i will try it out then!!!!!!!!
Eek I hope you have fun!! I’d love to know how it turned out :3 you can tag me on IG if you share it!
Please make me one skech book please because my parents can't buy me a sketch book😢😢....
PUSHEEEEEN
:3 I love pusheen
does a school glue will be okay?
I have actually tried elmers glue with a smaller size before and it worked! I think it just needs more layers and time to dry in between the layers :)
New sub lol 😃
Welcome! I hope you enjoy the rest of your day :) thank you for subbing ✨
