hey Gunny, its coming up to 10 years that you have been on youtube , April 2011 ! I think what an INCREDIBLE effort from myself and along with 198k subscribers. Thoroughly have enjoyed watching your content over the last decade you clearly have a passion for it. "keep it coming" .
I wanted a 0 to 100 gauge, so found a supplier on Ebay that sold 5 for $20 US. Replaced dead HF digital and some 0 to 160 gauges. Found that brass doesn't usually need teflon tape, but when used, just two turns in the direction you put the gauge on works. Thanks for the videos Gunny!
Hi Gunman, I watched your vid on the black Vett so i painted that fiberglass hood that no one wanted to touch and it came out great . thanks for vid. My car looks new again. Thanks again
Great and useful video Gunny. However your putting the Teflon tape on backwards it has to be put on with the thread not against it so that it compresses against the threads otherwise the thread digs it out, almost like on part of the thread works like a reamer. If you don't believe me ask a plumber or gas engineer.
You're totally right, and every time I use it I still guess which way it goes until I try fitting parts together then i find out if I got it the right way.
I know some old school painters use the big cans of Carb cleaner to soak gun parts in. It might be similar, not really sure. Also, the Iwata regulators are awesome, but they are pricey. The one on my Iwata gun was like 65 US Dollars. I may have to try one of the ANi gauges, I've seen them around.
Off topic . I'm interested in your colour matching skills . Here in the UK , I'm not aware that anyone colour matches . All they do is use the closest variant on the paint scheme . Thus you see big halos in the middle of a door where it's been blended 😭😭😭
Thanks for sharing this Gunny, I had no idea these came apart, I do have three of them so I'll have to service them. The gauge on one of mine recently stopped working so I treated myself to the Sagola RC1 regulator (cheater valve) with their so called "hermetic hand tightening" (big words aren't they, LOL) which is just a thumb wheel with rubber seal inside it but they do work very well, downside is I can get 3 ANI ones for the price of the Sagola, hey-ho, John UK.
I do like Sata myself but I don't like the price tag. I feel like there is plenty of guns on the market that shoot just as good for a much better price... just my 2 cents
I did some research since I first saw this gun cleaner on your channel and what I found is that there is no similar product, that you can legally buy inside the EU and none of these products is shipped internationally. The reason I found is that all kinds of paint strippers, that are containing methylene chloride, are not allowed in Europe unless you run a business with a special permit. Companies working with this stuff have to use fresh air masks, as there is no filter technology available, that offers suitable protection. So if you can't find it in your country chances are you won't ever be able to get it. After reading what it does to your body I think you can definitely say it absolutely is nasty stuff ;) You should consider using it insider the cabin wearing your air fed respirator.
@@TheGunmanChannel As far as I read it evaporates very quickly. Like thinner or acetone but much quicker. That should be responsible for the cold feeling but it is definitely absorbed by your skin to some extent, even when you are only exposed to the vapor and not touching it directly. So gloves are kind of a good idea. In the end don't worry. If you believe medical scientists basicly everything else in our daily lifes causes cancer ;)
I constantly am tightening those 2 screws on the guage. Almost to the point where the screw head is starting to round out...usually the primer gun and one of the tekna's
Careful on the strength of lock tite you use depending on size of screw the color of lock tite indicates its strength. Put red lock tite on a small screw it will break the screw before you ever get it out!
I hope not! It would be a lesson learned..not everyone is familiar with lock tite my comment is meant to be helpful and save a headache..cause I for one learned this lesson the hard way before I knew the strength of lock tite.

Thanks GUNMAN I just fixed my gauge the needle was stuck just like you said 👍
That's great to hear. That's why I love sharing these videos, even if it just helps a few people it's worth it.

Hello, Gunman likes to follow the results.

Are you using 1/4 inch euro fittings? They look massive.
Naked gun is the name of the product that really works awesome you can get in the USA.

Never heard of cam cleaner, prep all recently got banned in certain states as well!
Where do you get those regs from? Can't find them online.

Wow, I never even used to wear gloves and it makes your hands all cold 😬

Why not wrap the gauge in gladwrap/cling film to protect it from oversoray etc?
It's not really necessary and it wouldn't last

Back them out, put a drop of Lock Tite on them, and retighten. They will be good to go for a very long time.
@@splash5974 yes, I even used super glue and it worked

Nobody would use red lock tite on something like that...

What air fittings are those? never seen one like that
I have only seen them in this shop. Weird ones. I saw high flow Australia written on the coupling.
They work well, but my one, from brand new has always over read by 5psi.
I've seen someone say that before, but all mine are spot on
I always clean mine like that
I use a product called Naked Gun Paint Remover from kleen strip in the US. It's pretty much the same thing as in the video, nasty stuff for sure haha
Is there a used spraygun gift for the loyal audience of The Gunman from Indonesia, Banjarnegara.jawa Tengah😁😁
Get lost.

Пришли мне какой нибудь краскопуль мини, который тебе не нужен)) Пожалуйса.
That “cheater valve” has a odd thread pitch!
Standard “NPT” won’t work to use a different gauges.
Sucks cause I do like the valve.
