I love the red skirt. I've noticed many times that when girls now carry a basket like Jane Birkin did, it is so tiny. Jane's basket was a good size and it held a lot of things, but I only see these tiny ones being carried and they are just too small to look right.
I am in Biarritz right now and most people do not dress like that, rather like surfers or way more laid back and less romantic. Maybe the white top and red skirt but only because les Fêtes de Bayonne just happened last week and those are the signature colours.
