This was a HUGE #1 hit in late 1990. This was the first CD I ever bought, which was in November 1990. I knew this song would hit #1 before it even hit the charts. Sometimes you just knew!

It's interesting how artists can have different popular songs in different countries. I always assumed that the most famous Stevie B singles are "Waiting for Your Love" & "Dream About You", only to find out that they never charted in most markets. Hence, the majority of the comments here aren't recommending them, which is unfortunate.
I am a huge fan of freestyle dance music from the 80's to the 90''s. The artists were so good. Stevie B was definitely one of the best to come out of that era. Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam is my absolute favorite though.
I remember when this CD came out. My cousin knew Stevie B and got a bunch of CD's to distribute for him. He gave me like 10 CD's to give out around my school. That album blew up by word of mouth basically.
My older cousin, Scott, was like my immediate big brother. He is 2yrs older than me and when we were teenagers in the late 80’s/early 90’s we could not have had more different taste in music. I was a punk rock/ indie/alt/hip-hop kid and he listened to all of the stuff like Trinere, Timmy T, Noel and this guy, Mr. Stevie B. Because of that I can say that I know the Stevie B. catalog backwards and forwards… and I am proud to say that I do!!! I recommend doing “Spring Love”, “Party Your Body”, “In My Eyes” and “If You Leave Me Now”. You guys will love them!

Stevie B grew up in my hometown of Coral Springs Florida. While this was his big ballad, he was more known for keeping people on the dance floor in the 80’s….SPRING LOVE IS A MUST

I understand they don't have the luxury like we did of having tons of music ingrained in our memories by constant repetition but I admire the excellent job they doing of recalling so much music on the channel with very limited exposure.

If you want something strong, talented, inspired, sweet, and very moving, try tori amos' "winter" the live at montreaux 91 92 versión (she wears a blue outfit). Jay Will melt with the piano and her voice live, Amber Will find the nostalgia, poetry and remembrance of the lyrics and music very emotional. A true gem from a true artist.

This song will always remind me of New Years Eve, 1990. The slow dance and the way my then girlfriend was staring in my eyes as I stared at her. It was a night to remember and all the emotions flood back every time I hear that chorus.
