Pixel 4a for the OLED display, camera, and customization. I feel trapped while using Apple compared to my friends with Androids Edit: I’d totally like to clarify that it’s tough to decide what’s *better*. Obviously it totally does come down to preferences! There’s trade offs and premiums that both phones offer, and it’s okay if you prefer Apple over Android, for some, the Apple iOS is perfect and caters to them, for others, Android might be best :p. No need to harass anyone over this, but do feel free to share your opinion:)
Android OS never feels outdated.Also iphones release once per year and you have 3-4 choice to buy, here on android side you have numerous choices. After buying a phone if you care about what others have within atleast an year, you made a wrong choice or there is something fundamentally wrong with your values.

To be very honest, The XR is my first Apple device in over 10 years. I have a pixel 3A for work. It took me about A half hour to learn iOS. I’m probably going to upgrade to the 12 or the 12 pro

Takes better pictures but like I said with the software google will stop making software sooner for the google pixel 4a which will make it go slower over time and also with the processor the A12 has better turbo frequency which means it faster and clocks faster than the processor of the google pixel 4a which is very important for performance.Im not gonna lie but the Google pixel 4a and Iphone XR are great options but for me I just love the XR with its colors and overall performance,camera etc

Dude battery is kinda nice but even my mate 20 lasts more than my sister's iphone xr,so that puts the iphone as a "premuium flagship phone" to shame considering that it was beaten by a 300 euro smartphone in terms of battery and sometimes in camera
I like the xr but the pricing is way too high for its specs (apple store) and i cant be asked to buy a "refurbished" phone from ebay so i do have to go with the pixel 4a
Pixel 4a is my fav phone. But its too costly as i checked 350$ + 299$ shipping charges to India. Even if its released in India, it will be heavily taxed as its not manufactured oo assembled in India. But many same spec chinese alternatives available at half price. But Pixel is Pixel.

Guys if you can find a Xr for the price of 4a, its the better option. Do remember to buy the 128gb version of Xr, if you are a heavy user 64gb is not enough.

XR is superior for me personally, better software support, better resale value, beter built quality, Better battery. 4a is great though, better screen and slightly better camera.

If you want a phone that nobody owns then go with pixel , for me the iPhone XR is still a great phone own and still see plenty of people with the XR , I have never seen a google pixel phone in the wild
Not really because logically youll be gaming and forcing the GPU and CPU to work harder with lower power hence causing heating and bottleneck problems that'll affect your battery in the long run making it deplete. Better turn it off when its not at 20%. Turn it on only on 20%, I have a 7 plus on ios 13.6 and thats how i use it. Doing tasks on low power mode makes the phone heat up like a microwave (15 seconds in and its hot)
i really love my red XR but just lost it. Now I am doing a research for a new phone n this video makes me miss my phone so much. I love playing games with it, taking pictures, using INSTAGRAM n SNAPCHAT n its great battery life.
One thing gr8 about these phones are both are manufactured by their own companies both hardware and software.. so if you are thinking for long run 🏃♂️ 3-5 yrs u can’t get it anyone as both will provide 5 yrs guarantee OS update.
If you like gaming and dropping your phone in water, go for iPhone . If you like taking photos and small manageable phone go for pixel. And if you don't care for camera 8t or 8 on offer would be safest buy.
The XR is still costs loads more to buy than the 4a even after a price reduction! You're still comparing a budget phone with a higher midrange phone here and pretending they're in the same bracket. there's no question which is better value for money here. The SE would be a better comparison but for equivalent storage the SE is $100 more than the 4a!
I switched from my galaxy note 10 plus to a pixel 4a and honestly I don't even miss my note. The 4a is such a great device for the price...battery ,UI, performance, size. I'm in love with the compact size as well as the sharpness of the screen. Google did a great job with this one.

If you want a phone that nobody owns then go with pixel , for me the iPhone XR is still a great phone own and still see plenty of people with the XR , I have never seen a google pixel phone in the wild

yeah no problem at all i also put my phone at low mode all the time its been a year and a half still battery lasts all day easily
Not really because logically youll be gaming and forcing the GPU and CPU to work harder with lower power hence causing heating and bottleneck problems that'll affect your battery in the long run making it deplete. Better turn it off when its not at 20%. Turn it on only on 20%, I have a 7 plus on ios 13.6 and thats how i use it. Doing tasks on low power mode makes the phone heat up like a microwave (15 seconds in and its hot)

iPhone XR is still a great after almost two years. Sticking with iPhone, they have better longevity than Android phones.

You can find Xr for about 400-450 on used markets or discounted by your supplier

One thing gr8 about these phones are both are manufactured by their own companies both hardware and software.. so if you are thinking for long run 🏃♂️ 3-5 yrs u can’t get it anyone as both will provide 5 yrs guarantee OS update.

If you like gaming and dropping your phone in water, go for iPhone . If you like taking photos and small manageable phone go for pixel. And if you don't care for camera 8t or 8 on offer would be safest buy.

The XR is still costs loads more to buy than the 4a even after a price reduction! You're still comparing a budget phone with a higher midrange phone here and pretending they're in the same bracket. there's no question which is better value for money here. The SE would be a better comparison but for equivalent storage the SE is $100 more than the 4a!
the pixel 4a still has a better display and no notch. the xr is old. in 2021 i would not buy it anymore, even not for 300 bucks.

I switched from my galaxy note 10 plus to a pixel 4a and honestly I don't even miss my note. The 4a is such a great device for the price...battery ,UI, performance, size. I'm in love with the compact size as well as the sharpness of the screen. Google did a great job with this one.
