EDIT: Thanksgiving, 2020, Got the iPhone XR. Just realized that the 11 has 4GB of ram, a bigger battery and A13 Bionic. The XR has 3GB of ram, a smaller battery and the A12 Bionic

For how many years IPhone can be used? I can easily use mid range android for 4 years. I also heard some saying that with updates Apple slows down phone to preserve battery. Google it

Im a broke highschool student with 2 jobs and I was gonna get the 2020 se but Im bored of the bezels so I got the 11, but every 5 years Apple comes out with a small cheaper se phone, so my next cheap iphone will be the 2025 iPhone se phone. When your starting to spend you own money for the first time you realize that their is no need to spend more then $600 on a cellphone.

I'll have the 11 this week and will be able to take portraits of everything (something I do a lot of), will be able to get great wide angle shots during travel and hiking trips, and will get better battery life than the XR. Glad I waited.

I’ve had my XR for almost two years and love it! I WOULD like the dual cameras because that’s what I use my phone for, much of the time. The battery life with my XR is great as well. I usually get more than a day out of the phone with using it for texts, a few games, and photos.

When I was broke, I used a flagship Samsung for 6 years, and with just a little tweaking to the software, was able to make it work just like new running Lineage OS, and Apple doesn't give you the ability to do jackshit on your iphones. So no matter what you're gonna say, you're wrong. Androids customizability will always outweigh the social status that is having an Iphone.
Nothing wrong with the XR. Its a great phone for what I use it for.
In the end, its just a phone and it will do just what it have to do for a phone. People takes smartphones too seriously these days.

Love my XR and decided to keep it for the year. However, in doing videos or for better wide angle shots, etc., I bought an Oloclip lens to enable me to wait for the 2020 iteration of iPhones. And it saves me money on an excellent low-cost purchase I got on my XR. Been a great phone in every respect - battery has been stellar and I use this phone a ton.
Just got my wife the 11. She loves it and coming from an android user I think I'll be crossing over to get the 11 as well ! Much love everyone be safe

i like how you did the power testing. Saying 3gb or ram vs 4gb of ram sounds big on paper but in reality isn't really that big of a difference. The way you showed that was very well done and i appreciate it.
I bought an iPhone XR for my wife just after the iPhone 11 announcement. She's not crazy about the camera... she was satisfied with with the iPhone 7 Plus camera... so iPhone XR is more then enough for her.

That’s kinda of a camera downgrade, since the 7 Plus has the dual camera, and the XR has the single camera
Hi Hi she never use the zoom and never use portrait mode. Quality wise, the single camera of the xr is better.
Its not a good upgrade to begin with. She could just still use her 7 plus. There's only one generation between the 2 phones, not worth it imo.

Picked up the XR in May on a great deal. Upgraded from a 6 Plus, which I had for 5 years after previously owning a few Android phones (which frustratingly hardly ever received updates) and a few Blackberry models over the years. For that reason alone, I was glad to make the move over to iOS.
Very happy with the XR, especially for what I paid for it. Still getting used to not having a Home button, due to currently being the owner of an iPad Mini 4.
No reason for me to upgrade to the 11 at this point, but I wish I could take portrait shots of my dogs with the XR. That's the only thing its really missing. Camera works fine, but I wish it had better low light performance like with the 11.
I can honestly give the XR a 8.5 to a 9 out of 10 rating. I can live with this phone for at least 2 years, and possibly as long as 5 years, like I did my 6 Plus. I highly recommend it, especially now with the new price points.
If you can spare the extra coin, go for the 11. If not for just the camera improvements and the battery, but also the (reportedly) improved connectivity/signal performance.
well i have a tip if you get the phone close enough, it will do "portrait", not quite the same not the same effect and closer but it does get that desenfocation

I just got a Yellow XR. The bezel is kinda thick compared to my Xiaomi phone , but The XR is a gorgeous phone, and I think it actually looks good with the thicker bezel. Imagine, we call this a thick bezel, and we just got rid of the home button a few year ago which required huge bezels in comparison. The 8 Plus and the XR are the same size, it's just that the XR has a lot more screen.

When someone sold me their iPhone XR for $325 in new condition, buying an iPhone 11 went out the window. Works fine with my SIM-card.

I actually like these both devices since they've been great and giving the right amount of performance. But there's an option if you're unto budget wise since XR has it all too. A great phone giving you a great performance and use on daily basis
Great video you made me decide on getting the 11 bc currently I have the 7 and I’ve had it for about 2 years and the battery kinda sucks and the camera quality isn’t the greatest so I wanted a big upgrade
Just upgraded from the 7 Plus to the 11. Not much of a difference between the 11 and 12 for me to spend the extra $250, but enough difference to spend the extra $70 on the 11 instead of the XR (I did trade-in so got a discount, plus a $50 gift card) and I love it! I thought the cameras on my 7 were amazing, my new phone has it better :)
After Apple dropped price in Xr during the IPhone 11 launch. I have decided to buy the Xr. I thought this may be the right time to buy the Xr. It’s no where lesser than iPhone 11 for a general user like me. Moved from iPhone SE to Xr. I love the dual sim option. I was carrying two iPhone.
Wow you even matched the icons! Great attention to detail. If I had to buy a phone today:11, but to my eye in the majority of your photos the XR more than kept up. Plus I just really love my coral XR, you have to see it in person it’s a great color.
