I loved watching Jamie take a strong hold of his destiny as a leader especially the scene where he puts Dougal in his place about who will lead the men. Good job Sam!
I love that Sam has done these Outlander Recaps. How do we get him to do more next season? I would look forward to that. :) And it would be awesome if we get to see that deleted scene with Murtagh that Sam spoke of. Perhaps on the Season 2 DVD.
Listening to Sam description of the scene and about Jamie is fascinating I appreciate more. He is right that Jamie went from a young man who had certain ideals to this leader of the army he had to lead into battle and also I think that this relationship with Claire strengthens.
I can watch that scene over and over again because the looks on Claire & Mary's face is priceless as Claire looks directly at Murtagh and Mary looks directly at the head as Murtagh approaches them. That head coming off was long over due
Who was the bump who recognized claire when the red coats stopped for a night sleep and told him she was going to belmont instead of the place jamie was going to go looking for her?
It was Hugh Munro whom we first met in season 1 episode Both Sides Now. He’s the one who brought news to Jamie about Horrocks and gave Claire the dragonfly in amber as a wedding gift.
