    I am normally not an admirer of blue eyed blond men but Sam is a flawless specimen of a human being. Just so handsome, perfect hands, humble look, humility, smooth, velvety tone of voice, sweet smile! 🥰

    I like his solo interviews
    He is smart and so humble, shows his home discipline growing up
    Thanks for interviewing him alone so the other can’t monopolize everthing

    He is mature! This role couldn't have been handled well by someone less less mature or grown up!💥 5 stars

    I love this classically trained Sam Heughan! Looks are totally classical. Here, for me, he epitomises a Shakespearean Romeo.

    Great interview, thank you :) What a beautiful actor, he could play everything from Jesus to agent 007 :)

      great perception....I thought the exact same ...I can see him as Jesus ...seriously ...and 007 ..

      @@thekrayonkidsbookadventures 007? Yes! Jesus? No- only because he likely wouldn’t accept the role as he would not be a historically accurate casting choice for a Galilean Jewish man who likely had olive-toned skin. I know Hollywood doesn’t seem to care about that stuff, but Sam seems to!

      @@miranda.currier perhaps a Godspell Jesus ..I have seen the musical 4 times with several different nationalities play Jesus. I guess there Is just something in his eyes and his mannerisms and ways. I was just going off of what someone else mentioned earlier..but I see it too ..but I understand that he would want it to be authentic...... . then again ..he isn't a real red head from the 17 hundreds either. ..???? he is great though ...in anything..

    • @miranda.currier
      @miranda.currier 3 роки тому +1

      @@thekrayonkidsbookadventures it’s more about accuracy and not further whitewashing Jesus like most of Western culture has done- if we’re basing the character on the historical accuracy of his ethnicity. Though he plays a redhead and he naturally has dirty blonde hair, he is a Scot and can accurately portray one :) he can dye his hair/wear a wig to be a fictional redhead, but it simply wouldn’t be appropriate for him to play the historically accurate Jesus.

    Thank you Gold Derby! What a nice thing to be able to sit down for a few minutes for an in-depth interview rather than the usual silliness I see so often. It was definitely exciting to have Sam here in Sydney even if only for a few precious days :) 👍🏼

    I'm new to the series and after I binge watched Seasons 1 - 5 recently I realized I missed a few episodes in Season 2, so I'm watching that season again. While I love the series as a whole, I absolutely HATE this season for many reasons. Between the incredible amount of physical and psychological healing Jamie needs to go through and Claire's pregnancy, it made absolutely NO sense to me that they would jump into this harebrained scheme to prevent the Jacobite uprising! But oh well, the genre is fantasy after all! LOL! It's too bad because I think these flaws are probably what has prevented the series from receiving the kinds of awards one would expect. So much of the it comes off as contrived. It made no sense that Claire was not at all concerned about Frank when she believed Black Jack Randal died at the prison before he could marry and father Frank's ancestor, but now, knowing that he didn't die she's now so concerned about it she's willing to drive a wedge into her relationship with Jamie by controlling and emasculating him. That last scene was so well played by both of them even though the premise for it was ridiculous.

    • @RojaJaneman
      @RojaJaneman 3 роки тому

      She didn’t realize that Black Jack was Frank’s direct ancestor, which turned out that he wasn’t anyways. She didn’t realize about the ancestral line, until she met Mary Hawkins. Up until that point it hadn’t occurred to her. Like many other things. Like instead of fighting with Jaime about Frank’s life, she could’ve told him that without Frank, she’d have never went on the honeymoon and never traveled through the stones. In which case Jaime would’ve been supportive of her.
      But...it’s just a story. And characters have flaws.

      I'm not sure Amy but I think one of the reasons Claire pushed the stopping the Jacobite rising was because she wanted Jaime to have a focus and a purpose while he was healing ?? Not sure but to me yes..it did cause more problems and pressure on Jaime ..but I guess it did take his mind off of what happened to him with Black Jack ??maybe ...but it is weird because Claire knew the exact date that Black Jack would die but still thought he died before they went to Paris..maybe she thought she had changed something because she was there ...( thought the stones and was a glitch to history?)
