So I went to get my eyes checked. And was told my pressure was continuously high. Anyway, I felt like I had to be my own patient advocate because all I was told was "we have to keep watching it. No one really knows why this is etc etc." And so I am nursing school and looking through my books a kept seeing little things about steroids/glaucoma. I think this might be something to look into because I've always had highetened allergies. So steroids were commonly prescribed, even now. Anyway thank you for this video //:

Between ear drops with corticosteroids and topical corticosteroid for my excema. I've got tsw. I'm on year 2. I dont even want to think about what other damage it has done to my organs or my eyes.

How do you reverse this effect? My dad’s vision has gotten worse after being told to do 8 drops a day, now down to 4. It’s super upsetting to see him suffer. This was first a reaction to Dupixent and his eyes inflamed..now 4 weeks later he has completely blurry vision and bloodshot eyes. We don’t know what to do.

How long does it take before it causes glaucoma

I'm concerned that long term steroid eye drops could also cause skin thinning and laxity around the eyes. When you have thinning skin it causes even more issues. Do steroid eye drops contribute to thinning skin with long-term use like a year?

Steroid are described these days for only one week and will not cause Serious complications like glaucoma except for people who use it for long periods without advice from a doctor
