I love that JV dropped a doc on Prince Nas! When i got older and started fighting i respected his fierce power, speed, and uncanny ability to move in unorthodox ways. As i grew to understand business i respected how his showboating and carpet riding antics brought multi-million dollar paychecks to the smaller divisions. He gets picked apart for his fight with Marco Barrera but what the majority of people fail to realize is he was coming off an almost 2 year layoff due to repeated and failed hand surgeries that they were keeping out of the press because his stock would plummet if people figured he wasn't a threat any longer. During those 2 years he wasnt sure if he'd be able to heal sufficiently to fight again and as a result of inactivity put on 40+ lbs. The contract to fight Barrera was signed 8 weeks before the fight. Therefore he wqs coming in not fully healed, out of shape, and rusty. If you notice during the ring walk out they talk about how Nas delayed the fight by an hour due to 'issues' with his gloves and needing to change/ switch gloves resulting in officials having to reinspect multiple pairs etc. This wasn't mental warfare. This was the team trying to accommodate the prince's hand injuries. And Marco Antonio Barrera KNEW it and therefore didn't have the fear of the Prince's hands his prior opponents did. The Prince didn't decline because of Marco Antonio it was because his hands were no longer able to deliver the force he could generate.

Whatever you think of his arrogance and confidence, you cannot deny how entertaining he was and the power and speed he had was something else. Brilliant boxer. 🙏
He certainly was good, I didn’t realize how many top ranked guys he faced. He could have still fought if he could have changed his style of boxing, but decided to retire instead. Still one of the best.
Hamed was at his very best whenhe was at the Wincobank gym with Brendan Ingle as his coach. When Hamed boxed with that unorthodox Wincobank boxing technique, hands down, loose and relaxed, confident and cocky, arrogant even! The minute that Emanuel Stewart started coaching him, and changed Hamed into a more orthodox boxer.....that's when he declined.
@nashbullet3213 you are definitely entitled to your opinion but I disagree. He fought all the top competition of his era its just that featherweight division didn't have as much elite competition as other weight classes. By time he fought Barrera he was past his prime and lost some of his speed which made him such a lethal fighter. No different than Roy Jones Jr. whose style was also unique and far from text book which relied heavily on his speed to execute with the success that he did. Once he got older and speed started to go...well you know the rest. Does that mean Roy was a fraud too? No of course not. Prince fought everyone, knocked out most, and had one defeat (by decison) at the end of his career to a hall of fame legendary fighter who was still in his prime. You can't take that away from Prince.

Thank you for this video! Great work. Prince Naseem has been in my top 5 boxers since I first saw him. Totally the opposite style of boxer I was trained as but I wished so much I had his style and loved watching all his matches.
Before my time. Knew of him. Knew he was the best for a while. Didn't ever see this many clips of him. He was so much better than everyone else. Wow. His prime like Jones Jr. No one would beat him. Just wow, didn't realize how much his one punch power really extended
Even this being a highlight video. I've never seen someone conserve punches and only hit with such power , so accurately. What a fighter. No wonder hid hands were broken
Prince is a legend!!!!! Reminds me of a Yemenian Hector " Macho " Camacho with is God-given talent and showmanship. Thank you Mr. Vincent for creating this nostalgic content.
PRINCE NASEEM HAMED .. DEFINITELY 1 OF THE MOST ENTERTAINING BOXERS EVER .. AND HIS RING ENTRANCE MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE BEST ..
HERE WE GO! So hyped for this thank you!
The king returns mr Vincent is the goat of sport documentaries
I have never clicked a video so fast in my life
Whatever you think of his arrogance and confidence, you cannot deny how entertaining he was and the power and speed he had was something else. Brilliant boxer. 🙏
He certainly was good, I didn’t realize how many top ranked guys he faced. He could have still fought if he could have changed his style of boxing, but decided to retire instead. Still one of the best.
Idk what style you could have that doesn’t involve punching considering his hands were brittle
@nicholasgreen339 Oh ok 👍....I didn't know that......I always thought Bombwr Graham inherited his technique from the Ingles, I stand corrected! 👍
He literally fought nobody big except Barrera
Thank you so much for cover Prince Naseem, it really is amazing how few people are aware of how good he was and not just a gimmick act.
People actually knew he was a bums killer waiting to meet elite competition which he did and failed
Nice! Love prince highlights, was just watching some! Perfect timing!
The Naz vs Kelly fight was a classic, I remember watching it live going crazy
Wow you saw it live. I’m 26 and rewatched that fight multiple times because of how crazy and exciting it was. I could imagine those were the days
@duckyh9712 Great fight and the build up was awesome too
How freaking crazy I was just looking for this video 3 days ago and figured out it wasn't Done and was wishing it would be bc these videos are always super amazingly done and some of the best documentary videos I've seen on you tube, even better than most ESPN shit, great job! I asked the universe and it provided...crazy fast to!!
This video is a masterpiece, thank you Joseph Vincent! 🏆🥇❤🔥🔮🥠✨⭐💎🍀🧧Prince Naseem is one of a kind. Faboulous watch!
Boxing NEEDS another showman that can actually bang “with an attitude “ . The prince was truth !
I’m genuinely wondering if we’re interlinked because every-time I thin about you making a documentary, it always ends up happening! I was watching Sugar Ray highlights a couple months back and thought to myself “Joseph would make great doc on this guy”, BOOM! Two days later, saw the notification. Same happened for Jones and Buakaw. I was looking at TikTok videos of Naseem YESTERDAY, thinking “Joseph would make one of the best docs ever for this guy” and BOOM! Super excited for this documentary, I know you killed it, you should do Anderson Sliva next.
growing up i never liked him, i thought he was an arrogant cocky prick, it's only now as an adult i realize the difference between false confidence and competence in your own ability, what an absolutely incredible fighter this guy was, my respect for him has grown massively, and he was even humble in defeat. What a legend!
"If you're champion you do what you want to" fire ass quote
Kid... stop ✋️
Most entertaining fighting style ever
Am glad to have grown up watching this guy with my dad!💙

What was equally impressive as his power was his cat-like reflexes.
I'm so glad I got to witness every one of his fights when I was a teen!, there has never been anyone like this guy in Boxing History he truly was the legend they say he was!.
