He is an Olympic silver medalist and clearly has the power for professional. He looks the part but his show boating is silly.
Ok art.. I'll give you that, but the ones he's fighting aren't fighting back. Idk, doesn't really matter, it's cool though.
@@Frank-kj6fs
The problem he has is that his skill levels are already high and showing off against lower level fighters does not translate to the top level. If he can do it at title level he will be impressive. It is just wait and see.
rare talent...strength...accuracy of punches...still able to dodge the opponent's punches... next when the opponent becomes weak then he will canvas.
"King Avolar, I challenge you tona duel."
"I shall send my champion to fight you: the court's fool."
9:43 Emanuel Augustis activated 😮
YOU RIGHT..He ain't even close to the DRUNKEN MASTER...But I give him an E FOR EFFORT...LOL....AND EFFECTIVE 🤧
Whittaker def has talent but let’s not overhype him dancing while beating up Universal Credit claimants and Big Issue sellers. The test will come when he steps up to Euro level and cuts out the cocky bs
He is going places, speed, stamina and aim. He is good.
The part from 08:04 ~ 08:08, left me speechless. Pure art on the movement, the reaction and timing was impeccable.
100% rooting for his opponents.
all of them lost so......next :)
😂 cry me a river
I wont be surprised if someone ends his career like tat of prince nazim
Yeah but naz won belts/titles b4 he was stopped...hopefully Ben will watch those fights and refine His style
This guy comes from an ELITE amateur pedigree. Naz wasn’t as good of a boxer as this guy
@@MikeT-in1egwhat's this guy won?
@@ozz3272 Olympic silver medal
Clearly a great boxer and makes boring boxing really enertaining. Good to break the trend 🥳 and actually use footwork AND evasion as a strength. Not just being a punching bag exchanging blows for brain damage. I like this style.
He is the Portgas D Ace of boxing!!!
Whitebeard is proud of Ben Whittaker!!!
Seeing so much support and love here is amazing. Blessings to you all.
Looks like the great Emanuel agustis amazing .druvken style
People gonna say he's cocky, but he also bring entertainment. Something different
like a circus...come on ! it,s a disgrace for the sport
@@rafaelmartinmeuldijk6030 the sport already for entertainment anyway. Its already a joke
The only thing which killed Nassems career was a dint in his pride after not taking a Barrera seriously. Show boating doesn’t work when you got a champion who blitzed multiple world champions. Oscar dela Hoya I watch in golden gloves to rise through multiple weight divisions to champion 6 weights. He didn’t fair to well against Barrera either and he was one of my all time favourites.
.... Scared Shitless in the Changing Rooms And Delayed fight 2 Hours... Playing Every Dirty Cheating Trick to TRY Put "THE BABY FACED ASSASSIN" on His Back Foot.... HAAA HAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAA "AHMED" Was Spitting Dummies Out Left Right and Everywhere....
His hands were the problem,he had major issues due to years of hard punching and could not continue boxing. He was possibly one the hardest hitter ever in that weight class.
This guy played Ready 2 Rumble and decided to do it in real Life.
fast enough to be world champion. What an entertaining and brilliant boxer!!
I like how he also raises the hand of his opponent after the match 👏🏽
It’s stuff like this is why I love combat sports because even if this guy loses it’ll be spectacular and if not? What a ride.
Would love to see him fight Bivol or Beterbiev.
End of him if Bivol got him,
Really he will not be able to dance if he fight with beterbiya
He hasn't really fought any body but I'm sure he knows when to turn his dancing on and off.
that elite guys, for prove something, he must clean home comrades like Richards & Yarde first?..
@@nobkare That works too.
He makes it look easy but wow. Counter punching while showboating is killing it.❤❤
Who carefully observed that he doesn't look in opponent's eyes before the match
Everyone fights the way they fight.
It’s fun to watch.
And if it gets him somewhere special. Then good for him.
I like the guy
the new drunken master
Yeah
The Ronda Rousey of boxing
how
Something in his posture reminds me of Thomas ( The Hit man 😂😂 )
body type and height. i see it as well. Best Fight Hearns vs Hagler.
As a few have pointed out he has more than a touch of Thomas Hearns.
Totalmente de acuerdo, la mano izquierda que sale prácticamente desde la cintura, los ascendentes de derecha... Habrá que ver cuándo la categoría le quede chica y se tope con rivales más exigentes y de manos más pesadas
Yep 😊
Boxing needs this new breath of fresh air
His reflexes and feel of distance is extraordinary. His cockyness is leveled by his respect after the fight. Of course this risky style will eventually take revenche. But he is very fun to watch fighting. Respect!!
He will be humbled
Haha 😂 when
😅😂
Take it easy mate...
❤ from South Africa
27 years old and only 8 pro fights?
He hasn't even fought outside the UK.
What a clown.
His reaction time is out of this world.
Me encanta su boxeo de Ben Whittaker, es unico, superrrrrr...
He maybe showboating and being a showman but he is also really confident, accurate, and funny.
He is also displaying humbleness. I like him.
That stuff works until you meet someone that really wants to fight and studies your style then has a plan A,B and C.But fair play to anyone who steps inside a ring.
Ben always on the move. Most boxers are stuck what to do most boxers are like robots.
@@12tribes61Boxers have their own styles,As he gets older and he can't skip around He will have to fight,And like naseem,It worked until he was hunted throughout the fight and his antics had run its course.Whether like robots or not,A fighter with an excellent fight IQ and ring generalship this guy will be destroyed,Roy Jones,Prince naseem, lomechenko and that idiot that was humping the dude in the ring then got ko'd.
