heyyyyy. can you please make a video on how I can install this into the legs. just got my sewing machine and I've set up the bottom part but the problem now is I don't know how to properly attach the head to the body!! please help 🙏🏾
I know you post this 3yrs ago, but I'm happy to have found it, my grandmother gave me one of her sewing machine (the one my grandfather bought her, our family didn't get to meet him as he die when my mom was 7yr old) long story short she gave it to me but she passed away last yr I couldn't asked her any information regarding it. Aww, so sorry for your loss. My granny also loved to sew, it is a great gift to recieve. 40 years! it's definitely going to need to some extra deep cleaning. I wish you well.

Have been eager to set up my sewing machine since I bought the electric motor. Viewed many videos and they are either blurry or not explanatory enough. You video solved all that and I am now ready to start sewing. Thank you
I just inherited a sewing machine with no clue how to operate it or if it even had all the right parts. Your video was the best at explaining everything is clear detail! Thanks so much! I'm excited to get sewing!
I may be 5years late but this hands down the most engaging tutorial i've come across so far. Imagine you had captioned the names of the parts on the screen as you were listing them. Thank you so much. ❤❤
Thank you so much for posting this video. I have two old machines and have had NO idea as to how to oil, thread or sew with these lovely machines. I can't wait to use this information. Thanks again!
hi. I should clarify that I am not a machine repairman, but my advice is that you check that your thread tension is not too tight and that you are using good thread.
Hi, I have a question. I followed exactly how you showed but my thread kees breaking when I try to sew. Do you have any idea as to why please? And I’d like to say that your video was REALLY the best at showing and instructing. I didn’t get anything from other videos but caught everything from yours. Truly amazing!
Thank you very much for that lovely comment. Now to answer your question. 1) Your thread could be of poor quality, so try another and see. Or 2) Your tension is too tight, try loosening it a little, or 3) You should try changing to a new needle. Use a number 14 or 11 HAX1 / 705 / 15x1 needle. Also check that the needle is going smoothly through the needle plate and not scraping against anything. Let me know how it goes. good luck!
I noticed you put the bobbin into the bobbin case so it spins counterclockwise. On other peoples videos they show it being installed going clockwise. I'm now wondering if it really matters which way it goes in ?
Hi. Well when in doubt always follow your sewing machine user manual. But I load counterclockwise for all my machines and haven't had a problem. I learned it that way and I'm just used to it. But thanks for mentioning this, I'll make a note in the description box for others.
@@AlexMarieDIY I'm going to load the bobbin the way you did just to see what happens. It would be good to know that it doesn't matter which way it goes in. That would be one less thing for novices like me to have to worry about messing up on.
