This is a super easy DIY furniture hack that can save you so much money!! I wanted to give my wine lounge a face lift by brightening it with lighter decor and furniture! Instead of buying new furniture altogether, I used this DIY furniture hack, by way of leather furniture paint. This video shows how I transformed the deocr in my wine lounge by painting a dark gray leather sofa to cream. My room now looks so much better!!! I hope this inspires you to give leather painting a try!! Give this DIY a try---Refurbish and repurpose your old (or new) furniture and save those coins!!!

Such a big difference in your living room with this color!! Even the gold in your wall decor with the purple pops so much more with cream couches! Thx for sharing bcuz I want to do a similar change versus trying to find other couches

I like the look. How did the paint hold up? I'm wondering if you could use regular acrylic paint? How was the texture ? was it stiff? Might be the reason people added fabric softener.

I want to try this. A tip though when i paint wood furniture I use a foam roller, it saves on paint and gives nice even coating...that would have saved you time and marerial on this project. Looks great though

It probably is a good idea to use a roller instead!
An sponge (the one you use to wash the dishes) worked really good for me. You waste less paint.

It seems to have a very good coverage. Only 3 coats to get it from dark to white? What about the texture, does it smell? Does it completely dry?
Yep! The texture didn’t change at all, there’s no smell and it did dry pretty quickly
