This Penn Slate team was awesome. So many NFL-caliber skill position players on one college team. Fun to watch. They would have smoked Nebraska that year. Too bad there wasn’t a playoff.
As a Husker fan, I can say it's criminal that they didn't get to play each other. Same as 1997 Michigan and Nebraska, but that championship was split. I can only point my finger at the B1G & Pac 10. I understand tradition, but that definitely screwed over Penn St in 1994. Would have loved seeing PSU offense vs that Nebraska defense.
I was at this game and it was my senior year at PSU. What a road trip...what a season...what a team!
