I have always loved these bright but refreshing colors!
My desk looks like a pile of shit on a wooden table. My books are scattered, my shitty ass computer is there, shredded pencil leftovers and a bunch of video games.

Michelle, I love your videos sooo much an I love how unique you are but your videos are getting a little bit too professional.
It sounds crazy I know but I don't feel as connected to you as I used to. We love personal videos! I feel like your sense of humour has gone too in your videos and you sound like you're reading off a script. In no way am I trying to be cruel because I love you so much and I have been a loyal subscriber for many years now. It's just that I see youtubers getting too caught up in business from UA-cam and I don't want that to happen to you.

I completely agree! These new videos are cool but I miss the old Michelle. It was a lot easier to connect with her!
Why is there so much hate? Michelle actually puts in a lot of hard work. All the people hating on her videos and herself are pathetic. All it takes is a simple click to view her videos but for her it isnt that easy? A 4 minute video can take up to an hour or more to edit, depending on what its about so be grateful.

Why are so many people saying that Michelle isn't "acting her age"? I think if you are under your 20s, you shouldn't say "swag" as a joke because people under their 20s mainly say it to be serious so it's annoying. But Michelle is so sweet and fun and she is not 30 and she is in her 20s, so it's more funny when she says "swag" to just be silly and stuff. This goes for Adventure Time as well-she can like it or not. When I was little I became obsessed with Spongebob and my parents happened to like the humor in it (as in, the "old" Spongebob). Does this mean my parents don't "act their age"? No. Your age doesn't define what to watch and what to have on a DESK. If I were her and her age, I would probably also have a pastel, bright desk like this. It's just a cute style. If she likes the style, she likes the style.

Hey this is an idea I think would be great for a video Michelle, can you do a video to be prepared for college? Maybe some tips that you have learned along the way, I saw you are getting your doctorate this year via facebook. Congrats! What an accomplishment!! My parents never went to college so I had no idea what I was doing for 2 years. Maybe you could do a video about organization of a backpack and stuff but with tips about maybe what to bring (I never knew how important it was to bring a mini stapler. I have used that more than anything), and maybe advice for college? College is very intimidating, especially if no one in your family has gone. Maybe you could do this in the late summer? Let me know what you think!!!!!!

michelle you don't need to wear spf if you're in front of a window! the uv rays from the sun can't penetrate the glass, hence you're not actually exposed to any harmful rays :)

Multitasking is scientifically proven as impossible. You may be doing multiple things at the same time but your brain can only process one thing at a time. Even though you may think you listened to whole chapter of a book while editing videos, your mind is merely jumping from focusing on one thing to the other meaning you probably don't know half of the details that you "heard" from that book. You are never quite "multitasking" metally, only physically. Just food for thought.
yeah for the life of me, i can never ever listen to music while doing homework, especially studying. I forget half of what I looked at because I was concentrating on the music
this is true; i like to listen to music whenever im doing stuff, but in reality theyre just background noise... when im concentrating im not even really focusing on the music :P
lol yeah. And I can not listen to music while going to sleep. Totally incapable of it lol
I have never understood how these UA-camrs talk about Audible and say that they listen to their books while working or other things. When I read a book I like to focus solely on the words and details, which would be impossible to do while working and such. Plus, I like the feeling of an actual book, haha!

Sun still gets through, sunscreen just makes it less likely for you to get skin cancer and wrinkles.

I prefer a boring desk. All that colour is distracting. I only have essential on my desk; tablet, laptop (only when necessary), paper/books and plenty of pens and highlighters!

She's just explaining on what she likes to do with her desktop space she didn't say YOU HAVE to buy, she just giving tips to inspire rather than to obligate on what to do, so let it be.
Keyboard covers aren't expensive so you don't have to be a millionaire to afford it. And they actually protect your keyboard from dust and moisture.. So I wouldn't say it's useless, even if it isn't super necessary.
I agree that you shouldn't lose your head and buy every little piece of cr*p that you see, but if you think it's gonna make you feel more motivated or inspired to work if you have a cheerfully colored keyboard cover, why not have it? Only because it's not always contributing directly to being efficient doesn't mean that it's always absolutely useless. After all, aesthetics do influence one's mood to a considerable degree, and not only that, but there is also absolutely nothing wrong in buying something nice every once in a while.

Can't you just appreciate the hard work she put off just to create this video instead of bashing her and saying mean stuff to her? This is her channel, so she's in charge of what's she's going to create regardless of what your thoughts are. UA-camrs are always putting into consideration what their subscribers want to see and can't you just accept one or two sponsored videos once in a while? It's not like she made three consecutive sponsored videos at all. So please stop putting mean comments and let her be.

Bright colorful things often sparks creativity. And she's always coming up with awesome eye looks and she has a job that requires imagination. It's her desk anyways :)

Hey Michelle! Just so you know, you can't tan behind a window. The UV do not cross glass :)
50% of it gets filtered out depending on the type of glass you have. That's why I reapply every 3-4 hours depending on how intense the sun is. After 5 pm I stop because the sun is low enough. I live in LA, so the sun is intense here ;)
This is actually so weirdly inspirational to watch during exam season :)
