This is one of his best recorded live performances. Kind of an obscure video, but man, it slays me every time.

This is insane because the original song is awesome, but look what he did with the acoustic version. CoCa is just great in every way. This acoustic performance is Awesome. There is no end to their talents.

saw Claudio perform this at 102.9 studios in Nashville earlier today.. absolutely unbelievable
i love the passion, everytime he plays this song all he can see is his wife and his complete relationship.....so EPIC!!!

I wish they would record an acoustic version. In all honestly I'm not a big fan of this type of music, but this version is AMAZING, definitely the stuff I'd download (:

@zarbran It's doubtful, but you can still get mp3's of the little bootleg shows like this through sorta devious means.
However some nice guy got a full acoustic performance of this and 3 other songs and put up links to mp3s. Really good sound quality quality for camera recordings.

@canadiantreemen I heard something similar to that.. but it was that everything starts acoustically. Which makes sense because they can all rock an acoustic.

I didn't see that show, but I'll be sure to look it up. I like the Mars Volta, but sometimes I feel like there's too much for me to pay attention to in their songs. I could see how their songs would sound good acoustically though, especially with Cedrics voice, and as skilled as Omar is, I doubt theirs anyway he couldn't rock an acoustic.
@canadiantreemen I actually don't think it matters that much if he writes the songs on piano or on acoustic guitar.. The songs are written either way.
@21boomboom21 No but your Dad helped me with that one. Which was thoughtful of him, especially considering his mouth was full at the time.

@jackedasangelnman I started putting together a power-tab but then I decided to check and make sure someone else hadn't already done one... turns out someone had! The difference is that mine is in standard and his is in Esus4 tuning. Check Ultimate-Guitar for it, it should come up in a google search.
@canadiantreemen Well there could be a variety of reasons. For one, it may have been originally written on an acoustic guitar like I suggested, and since Claudio is doing an acoustic set........ why would he play it on piano during said acoustic set?
It's actually more likely that Claudio wrote this on acoustic and then transcribed it to piano because it sounded better for the song on piano, since he's a very skilled acoustic guitarist.
people shut up about Beiber. He is A POP STAR. Claudio is in a ROCK band. Pray to the Gods of music that Coheed never ever become as big as Beiber.
plus, Coheed are pretty simple for a band that seems to be labelled prog in every article

This is a great song, but its 10 times better when played acoustic. Claudio is more powerful than many other band by himself.
I love how Claudio, armed with nothing more than an acoustic guitar and his voice, sounds way heavier than most any full band. It's insane just how passionate he is.

@CuzImAwesome7 As much as I love Claud(die hard fan for 6 years) I gotta agree with tyler. He was built like a brick wall up through the days of Good Apollo, but he got quite the belly over the past couple years. Guess he doesn't need to look good when he's rich and married to a model, lmao. If I was...I would stop working out too haha.

@320bit I mean.. they all sounds good acoustically, but I don't know about 'better'. Songs like "Running Free" and "Welcome Home" are electric songs I think. They sound good, but different on acoustically. Like "Welcome Home" sounds more like something you'd hear in a dim lit poetry club or something where everyone's chilling, reading and drinking coffee. But this is just different, because I legit didn't like the song before I heard it here. I've liked all their other songs both ways.
@21boomboom21 I can understand getting upset over a disagreement, but can we try to keep the comments clean of insults? I see too much of this when I watch music videos. You can criticize, but insults are petty and below most of us.
And I like "Whole Grain Dumbass". It keeps me healthy and stupid, just like the box tells me...I think.

i was watching their best buy performances yesterday and the album sounds so much more dynamic imo
trailing off... i think YOTBR is a pretty good album, not on par from what i hear. juggernaut nearly made me cry the first few times i heard it the rest was meh unliked GA:IV and NWFT which ended up having really nice songs.
i think the drumming threw me off. chris is really talented no doubt but the drumming sounds generic and expected unlike Eppard's or even Hawkins
I think this song sounds WAY better acoustically. I didn't like it until just now.
@tmac3323 Eh, to be honest the album version sounds to clustered. There are to many things going on at once so it's hard to get in too. I mean if you like it, then that's fine, but I really would just rather listen to it acoustically if at all because it sounds more musical to me.

@alriooreo Im saying hes not a better musician than claudio, because if you searched up coheeds history, claudio played bass in there first band, then he actually played drums. but as he matured as a lyricist and guitarist, they figured he had the best voice in the band. Justin bieber can only play basic chords, and only excels on drums, , and doesnt even rival that of say chris pennie, or even josh eppard. sure, he can sing on a professional level, but the what the hell is claudio doing here?
