i wish i was one eighth as good as he is. every time i listen to claudio sanchez i feel like i have never picked up a guitar or sang a note, though i have been playing and singing for fifteen years
Nobody else can make me believe what they're singing! It goes far beyond "vocal talent" every inflection, whether a yell or a whisper, this man sings with his heart every time. This song is especially beautiful.
I was hoping for this at Nashville VIP last night. Instead, the whole band came out and played a full on version of Our Machine. I wasn't disappointed.
Claudioawesomeness should be a word in the dictionary. With a picture of Claudio in outerspace doing the awesome things that he does! Your amazing Claudio!
SO GOOD. I loved the new EP. My favorite memories of My Brother's Blood Machine was putting it on right before I went to sleep. Some good memories looking back.
I gave him a autographed Gunnar Hanson pic when they played the hard rock years ago and he dedicated “everything evil “ to me im pretty sure it made my life
i've heard this song so many times but i never made the connection to nightmare on elm street.. claudio said that its about freddy kreuger being in love with nancy and she just misread him
Jon Campbell Nancy is from the movie Nightmare on Elm Street. Springwood High was the high school that Nancy went to and Freddy got burned alive in. How can you not make the connection? Are you ignorant?
jake wilens maybe he hasn’t seen the movie in a long time and all the little details aren’t fresh in his mind to make that connection instantaneously. To call him ignorant without considering that possibility, I’d say you’re the ignorant one, just saying dude. Maybe think before you go insulting people friend.
Marc Cuffe by definition he is ignorant if he has seen the movie and doesn't put those references together. There's also such thing as the internet that you can do research on before questioning something.
Marc Cuffe not only that he said he has heard the song so many times and hasn't put the reference together. Unless you are ignorant, you can easily look that up.. You should also look up the definition of ignorant. That wasn't offencive, that was true.
Between this and Half Measures in the Blue Room sessions I've literally made my fingers bleed learning and then playing both all day long. Such a fantastic arrangement on acoustic! More BR sessions please!
Half of the Prize Fighter Inferno songs are acoustic and half are electronic. Some are a mix of both. Have you listened to "My Brother's Blood Machine" all the way through? Practically every other song is acoustic.
The EP came out as a limited press on vinyl already. They released a 500 copy white print at New York Comic Con and 1500 pink print on the Coheed store a few weeks ago. I'm guessing that other than the vinyl, it won't be released as a physical copy, just a download.
Letra/lyric : … You left me outside your front window And I just let you have your say Your mama's bars won't keep me from you And I can't wait another day Oh, through the floorboards I was sneaking through your drywall The dirty creep with the freaked out history Oh and when I get dreams Everything is possible … Answer your telephone After the beep, girl Nancy, I'm coming home Just fall asleep, I'll do anything Cause baby I'm the nightmare you need … Oh, Nancy I'm your boyfriend now … Those days still play, in echoes Through the halls of Springwood High My heart in a million pieces When my love went unrecognized Between you and me Girl, I would do anything To keep you here In this dreamscaped fairy tale Oh, where you can be my queen … Answer your telephone After the beep, girl Nancy, I'm coming home Just fall asleep, I'll do anything Cause baby I'm the nightmare you need … Oh, I'm Elm Street's lover boy Yeah Oh, yeah Oh, little Elm Street lover boy Oh Oh, yeah I am your night, I am your night, I am your nightmare I am your night, I am your night, I am your nightmare I am your night, I am your night, I am your nightmare I am your night I, I, I, Ha Ha Ha Ha … Answer your telephone After the beep, girl Nancy, I'm coming home Just fall asleep, I'll do anything Cause baby, baby, I'm the nightmare you need Answer your telephone (Oh, I'm Elm Street's lover boy) After the beep, girl (Come on, dream away) Nancy, I'm coming home Just fall asleep, I'll do anything Girl, I'm the nightmare you need Answer your telephone After the beep, girl Nancy, I'm coming home Don't fall asleep, I'll do anything Cause I'm the nightmare you need Answer your telephone After the beep, girl Nancy, I'm coming home Just fall asleep, I'll do anything Cause I'm the nightmare you need I'm the nightmare you need I'm the nightmare you need I'm the nightmare you need I'm the nightmare you need I'm the nightmare you need
I think I might actually prefer this acoustic version a little more than the studio version...No matter how much I listen to Coheed, or Claudio in general, I can never get bored of any of the songs this man creates. I will definately be buying the "Half-Measures" EP
I'm pretty sure all the Prize Fighter Inferno songs are acoustic. They all start that way. Claudio will have added electronic elements and even completely substituted the acoustic guitar parts out for another instrument on the record, but when he has performed them live, he's always played an acoustic guitar.
Haha yeah I was embarassed too. Couldn't believe I couldn't connect the dots of "Elm Street" and "nightmare you need". Once I did though it blew my mind XD.
championchristmas1 Kari Rasmussen What he means is that Claudio is a fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street series and thinks this is the best song spawned from that love of the series. Just clearing things up.
To be able to write something so beautiful from a movie like nightmare on elm street is so amazing.
It really just shows how talented he is. Like challenged himself to this 1.
Ps. It's a decade since you made this comment. How you holding up?
Never before has stalking and murdering teenagers sounded so pretty.
comment of the decade
He's the reason I picked up a guitar and started singing
He's the reason I wash my car not once a week but now twice. Powerfully inspiring is Claudio.
This is the most soulful song about Nightmare on Elm Street I've ever heard.
Claudio is an amazing musician with a flawless voice and to construct this song in this manner just shows genius..
I've seen them four times live, and stay busy enough to only find these gems years later. sick surprise from 2012 :)
Such a beautiful version of this song. Freddy Krueger would be proud lol.
I wish a girl would look at me the way Claud looks at his mic :(
Boii
😂😂
i wish i was one eighth as good as he is. every time i listen to claudio sanchez i feel like i have never picked up a guitar or sang a note, though i have been playing and singing for fifteen years
from time to time i listen to this song, reminds me of my high school days. I stopped performing and moved on with my life
I'm so in love with this, Claudio's voice is incredibly perfect.
Loren Aleman Claudio is incredibly perfect... FTFY

This is amazingly good !!! Hands down he’s the best . Been listening to Claudio since i was 14 and I’m 28 now.

I seriously can't stop listening to this song.... Everything about it is amazing!!!
What a beautiful voice and music! It's a shame you're not still uploading!
IT'S NOT ENOUGH WE NEED A FULL ALBUM!!!!
My husband and I met because of Coheed, and this is the song we walked down the aisle to. 🩵🩵 Always a tearjerker for me 🥹
Claudioawesomeness should be a word in the dictionary. With a picture of Claudio in outerspace doing the awesome things that he does! Your amazing Claudio!
SO GOOD. I loved the new EP. My favorite memories of My Brother's Blood Machine was putting it on right before I went to sleep. Some good memories looking back.
I have yet to hear a better songwriter and performer. Who else could write such a beautiful yet eerily appropriate ode to A Nightmare on Elm Street?
this is literally the best version of any song i have ever heard.
Finally learned this, and I'm so happy that I got the chance. This is an amazing, song Claudio.
Do you have the guitar tabs for this, please?
This is better than the album version
Seriously, anywhere Claudio is singing is my Happy Place. I love this song.
Beautiful, I love this acoustic version. Claudio is so SO talented!
Great songs.. And superb artist... Nice one bro....
On repeat all day
On repeat all day. I'm embarrassed that it took me 4 listens to realize it's a song about Freddy Kreuger lol. Awesome Claudio!
I gave him a autographed Gunnar Hanson pic when they played the hard rock years ago and he dedicated “everything evil “ to me im pretty sure it made my life
Amazing!!!! Claudio You Are The Man :D

Jake Wilens You should google how to spell offensive. It’s not offencive lol
This voice, its spot on. Amazing singing...
Beautiful rendition of a great song.
I had never heard this. He's doesnt have a perfect voice and that makes feel so real.
So so good
Between this and Half Measures in the Blue Room sessions I've literally made my fingers bleed learning and then playing both all day long. Such a fantastic arrangement on acoustic! More BR sessions please!
I didn't know if I would really like this. This blew me away!
Oh I love this!!! Cleverly, sweet Nightmare-inspired song. Whoop whoop for Nancy!
i love the way he looks when he turns off his camera. his face is just adorable.
This sounds flawless omg.

Man I love this. You and your wife make a song plz claudio she was incredible in half measures.
Half of the Prize Fighter Inferno songs are acoustic and half are electronic. Some are a mix of both. Have you listened to "My Brother's Blood Machine" all the way through? Practically every other song is acoustic.

sadly he doesn't get as much attention as he should, his voice is insane.
Wow, just awesome
Letra/lyric :
… You left me outside your front window
And I just let you have your say
Your mama's bars won't keep me from you
And I can't wait another day
Oh, through the floorboards
I was sneaking through your drywall
The dirty creep with the freaked out history
Oh and when I get dreams
Everything is possible
… Answer your telephone
After the beep, girl
Nancy, I'm coming home
Just fall asleep, I'll do anything
Cause baby I'm the nightmare you need
… Oh, Nancy
I'm your boyfriend now
… Those days still play, in echoes
Through the halls of Springwood High
My heart in a million pieces
When my love went unrecognized
Between you and me
Girl, I would do anything
To keep you here
In this dreamscaped fairy tale
Oh, where you can be my queen
… Answer your telephone
After the beep, girl
Nancy, I'm coming home
Just fall asleep, I'll do anything
Cause baby I'm the nightmare you need
… Oh, I'm Elm Street's lover boy
Yeah
Oh, yeah
Oh, little Elm Street lover boy
Oh
Oh, yeah
I am your night, I am your night, I am your nightmare
I am your night, I am your night, I am your nightmare
I am your night, I am your night, I am your nightmare
I am your night
I, I, I, Ha Ha Ha Ha
… Answer your telephone
After the beep, girl
Nancy, I'm coming home
Just fall asleep, I'll do anything
Cause baby, baby, I'm the nightmare you need
Answer your telephone (Oh, I'm Elm Street's lover boy)
After the beep, girl (Come on, dream away)

Don't fall asleep, I'll do anything
Cause I'm the nightmare you need
Answer your telephone
After the beep, girl
Nancy, I'm coming home
Just fall asleep, I'll do anything

It's amazing!

I agree with your statement, neither would surprise me, but the cameras inverted. T-shirt logo.
I laughed my ass off. The song is about Nightmare on Elm St.

I fucking love you, Claudio.
Haha yeah I was embarassed too. Couldn't believe I couldn't connect the dots of "Elm Street" and "nightmare you need". Once I did though it blew my mind XD.

Jordan Mullee And he is an artist that is fan of Elm Street.
sexydanny21awesome
facepalming so hard right now
Claudio is THE original singer, he's just doing an acoustic version of the song. It's not a fan cover.
championchristmas1 right? Lol
championchristmas1 Kari Rasmussen What he means is that Claudio is a fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street series and thinks this is the best song spawned from that love of the series. Just clearing things up.
best thing ever
I like how his hat actually contains his amazing hair.
