So, most of my friends are gay/trans/rainbow. There's only one other straight guy in our group, and I'm the DM. I've had almost no issues with anything like this. But for the one player I had who *was* like this... This video was extremely satisfying. For every DM who's ever had to sit there and watch as one of your players makes everyone else in the party uncomfortable by flirting with them. Or every DM who's had your important quest NPC made into a joke, by a successful persuasion roll to turn them into a sex object. For every DM who hasn't been able to speak out, because they don't want to sound bigoted. 10/10, would bone again.
When I have a character flirt with an NPC in games I usually do the comical thing, roll for the flirting and then describe how my character says "Ladies~" and does finger guns, and thats how they flirt.
Why would you allow your npcs to be sex objects? There's nothing magical about persuasion rolls. Even a roll as high as 35 doesn't mean that someone will just instantly turn to fuck them
I love these. Why dont DMs let players use more custom races? I always wanted to play skeleton and a semi-sentient slime colony. Just imagine being a slime, passing through dangerous traps harmlessly only to see the companion behind you impaled 5 times over becuase he stepped on a pressure plate. Or roleplaying as a hivemind. Well I did get my DM to let me play a slime, I was puppetting the skin of a halfling as a rogue from inside. It worked great, but started getting crazy when I had blind sight and could get someone to cast darkness on me for infinite sneak attacks

I only just started playing DnD (it ended after 3 sessions hoping we'll pick it up again), but I know I wouldn't want to force my desires for the game onto my team mates. Growing up anti-social, I know how addictive it feels to finally be able to speak my mind to others and share my ideas expecting everyone to agree with me. However, I also know how unrealistic that is and how I could railroad a game by talking over people and forcing my ideals for everyone to swallow. I wouldn't want that to happen to me, so I found I have to catch myself when I begin to talk over the DM or my fellow players. My whole point is this, the orc player should have reigned himself in, this isn't his game it is Their game. It's no fun when you force your desires onto the players because it takes away their freedom of choice, which is a big part of this game. I've found it's more fun to participate than to lead because you learn new ideas you never would have thought of yourself. As for his fetish, leave that junk at the door NO ONE wants a fling flung on them WITHOUT CONSENT.

But the moment this threatens the state of the game or fucks the party's ability to cooperate, any player is allowed to turn the offending PC into a piñata lest they learn their lesson or I turn their character and sheet to ash. With a player like this I'd probably have to first firmly inform him that I'm the one building this world, and he should probably see a psychiatrist about his unhealthy obsession with this rapey rainbow utopia. If he thinks rape is made ok by culture, wonder what his view is of culture-sanctioned orientation-based purging...

Even if the player in question was gross, pushy, or annoyingly political, you lost me with thinking you could be racist in-game, at the table, and in your narration here. Referencing the 3/5ths Compromise to indicate the player was black is not funny or intelligent and is actually the most offensive thing recounted in this video, including the player's questionable attitude towards in-game romance. You had me with the storytelling, but you lost me immediately with the hate speech around the 1:45 mark.
I think what I can gather from this video namely the dynamic between the story teller and problem player is that two evils on opposite sides from each other cancel out. Like matter and antimatter they explode into energy and disperse. You can gather a lot of salvage from a train wreck.

If you play 3.5e D&D you can play a player character of any monster in the books.
