Ooghie's masterpiece "Ooghie's Embrace" This chest armor made of scraps of metal forged by big, loving and clumsy hands offers inferior defense, can be equiped by any class and is uglier than misery itself made for a beloved friend of Ooghie the Crafty-smith of legends part of a set crafted by Ooghie long ago, has two passive habilities, grants a 50% attack bonus against deities and the effect decreases after each blow remaining in 10% during the rest of the encounter, the second passive hability is called "Ooghie's wish" this hability activates when the health reaches 0, when this happens the armor breaks and all remaining durability is coverted in to health multiplied by 1.5 times it's single use and the armor breaks beyond repair after use.

Much like Oogie, he won't be dwarvish, he'll be of Good Alignment, and also be a quest to become an apprentice along side Oogie.
Agreed...
I hope he or she finally found his or her way to the halls of Moradin.
You had my heart by the balls when he encountered the Blacksmith hall. god damn this story.
Well I just spent twenty minutes with tears streaking down my face, that was beautiful.
I shall ask my DM to include this special little ray of sunshine into our campaign. Oohgie is worthy of everything. He is a true paladin, blacksmith, and friend. May he exist forever more in eternal bliss, happily clanging away at his magic anvil. This is a great story to fall asleep to at night. Long reign Oohgie, the crafty-smith of the forge, and honorary dwarf.
Oogie you're the greatest drawf to exist. I scared my boyfriend because I was basically sobbing.
There are very few things that make or have made me cry. The final mission in Ace Combat: Zero, soldiers being united with their dogs, when Leonard Cohen passed away... and now this. Thank you for such an amazing tale.
I was sobbing and I'm a war vet as well, amazing story telling. I haven't cried hat hard over a story since rue died in hunger games.
I wondered if the DM was going to pull a "and then the ogre leveled up, and took a level in paladin, and used lay on hands. It was the clumsiest spellcasting of the year, but he did get two hit points he needed out of it".
I want to give Oohgie a hug so much.
I have been playing D&D for over a decade. I have played so many different games, with so many different DM's, and so many different characters. I have seen groups come and go. I have had characters that I connected with deeply, and characters I couldn't wait to be rid of.
This grandest of ogres made me cry. I am a grown man, a navy veteran, a father, and hardened by poverty.
I'm crying. And I'm not ashamed to admit it.
Man. My ability to cry has long since left me. Great story. If I were still human, I would be tearing up right now.
I teared up but not cried I haven't been able to for 5 years I'm glad I felt happy for this story don't put yourself down to much though your still human even if your a little different
Just like ooghie you are still with your still a person even if you are different

It was more so a joke about how I haven't cried in years since I'm much more emotionally stable now than I was when I was a kid, but thank you, regardless. To be clear, I now typically use more complex lines of reasoning to dictate my emotional responses, where I once was misguided by emotional platitudes. I don't regret this.
if only there was a love button, I would press that for this only. Best UA-cam video ever! I am not a touchy feely guy, but this made me cry. : ) I loved this so much, made me cry of joy and sadness, first UA-cam video like this I've seen, subbed halfway through.
Just got back from snowboarding, wanted a funny, chill story to wind me down. Now I'm laying in bed, crying my eyes out. Thanks man, phenomenal job
I love the story of a boss who the dm didn't even think would be able to speak before killed became gods apprentice. This story went from him being a boss for goblins to annoying for lvs and ores to the saving destruction for them to kill a god
I didn't cry when my father left I didn't cry when he came back then later cheated on my mom but this.... I know is not real but this made me tear up I would love to find a DM who has the patience to deal with a noob and create a world with as good story telling as this guy he deserves an actual statue of that wonderful creature and an animation as well please tell that DM he's howesome
This is just so pure. I wasn't even part of this game and this story made me cry. And I don't cry often. So well done to the DM who created Oogie, the honorary Dwarf
You are one great story teller. Thank you for all your time you put into this.....
Every D&D player should hear this story.....
This is what dnd is about, heart felt stories.
This genuinely moved me. The emotion in your voice made me tear up and have to hold back tears from just flowing while at work.
Thank you for this.
PRAISE BE OOGHIE! (crys like a little baby because the feels hit hard)
Oh, my feels. This is why I love D&D. A nobody NPC can become a cornerstone of the story.
How _dare_ you make me cry?! This story is so dang emotional and beautiful and just, how _dare_ you?!
Legit, this is the kind of game I hope to one day be able to run. Something that can inspire so much feeling towards characters, npc or otherwise. I'm jealous.
Oohgie will live in our hears
and our hammers
OOF MY HEART. MY SOUL. I cant just even. *Sobs violently* He is so precious.
that is legit one of the most heartwarming stories i have ever heard and it came from dnd i am so happy to be alive
Literally the best d&d story I've ever heard, this will be my new page to hear stories hands down
Is it normal to sweat out of my eyes ?
That is the most heart wrenching story I've ever heard, it's amazing, i hope he becomes even better of a blacksmith
Ooghie's masterpiece
"Ooghie's Embrace"
This chest armor made of scraps of metal forged by big, loving and clumsy hands offers inferior defense, can be equiped by any class and is uglier than misery itself made for a beloved friend of Ooghie the Crafty-smith of legends part of a set crafted by Ooghie long ago, has two passive habilities, grants a 50% attack bonus against deities and the effect decreases after each blow remaining in 10% during the rest of the encounter, the second passive hability is called "Ooghie's wish" this hability activates when the health reaches 0, when this happens the armor breaks and all remaining durability is coverted in to health multiplied by 1.5 times it's single use and the armor breaks beyond repair after use.
fish can't cry. fish can't cry. fish can't... cry... *sniff*
I was playing Factorio, (no sound, just this UA-cam vid.) I had to pause during the last 10 minutes, hiding my face in my hands, breathing heavily so as not to shed tears... or trying to... It's been maybe 45 minutes now since the video stopped and i'm able to see what i'm writing...
Had to wipe a lot of tears away...
Gorgeous story!
Respect to the GM/DM for their ability to make a fantastic story for you guys to evolve and and make into something that can be told for years.
THE FEELS, THEY BURN.
Stories like these are why I love tabletop rpg's. What was originally meant to be a typical encounter, ended up being a beloved companion that made players and characters alike cry
In all my years on UA-cam , playing d&d, everything. I have never cried. That is until this video where I have cried for a solid 8 minutes.
bit more than 2 years later this story still making people cry
and so do i
this is, I think, the best telling of this story and I return to it sometimes. thank you for it.
Genuinely cried
Dont be ashamed those are man tears
The only time I've ever had to put my work down and just cry while listening to DnD stories. My bf has been playing the same half-orc character for 20 years and all I can see is him while listening to this. Bravo to the DM for excellent gameplay and well-done Oogie. You've truely earned your place in your celestial home
Oohgie... if ever I need to make a blacksmith character in a fantasy setting. I think I'll give him that name. 😭
Cloak and Dagger, wherever you get these stories whether they are stories you heard or were apart of. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these stories, they may be small but they are the most badass stories you can tell.
This story never fails to make me bawl my eyes out.
Sounded like our reader was about to cry at the end too.

Wow, Was not expecting that. One of the best D and D stories I have ever heard. Thank you
I loved this so much that i added Oohgie to my game as a hero he has made my game much more interesting!
The best honorary dwarf in the land.
The way you were clearly on the edge of tears through reading this…though acting or honest feeling, it made the story so much better.
Jesus, I am sobbing my heart out
it doesn't matter how many times i've listened to this story, it never fails to make me tear up and cry, i love Oohgie
this genuinely brought me to tears. thank you for sharing this wonderful story about a true man who never did exist in our world. but shall forever exist in the hearts of others. and who's story shall never be forgotten.
He is loyal, fiercely loyal. Dedicated to a lifes work of craftsmanship because of those that showed him kindness. and a better dwarf never lived 🥹
second time watching this and I think I cried more this time then the last. you did a fine job at telling this man a fine job.
I cried twice, at his death and then at the statue and almost another time when gloves came again. Damn it was good to have tears again
Playing ESO, farming chests, while listening to this as background sound. made me tear up.. good episode.
I am legitimately crying. You have earned a subscriber this day.
this is a good story but...stupid ghosts are cutting onions infront of me.
no, im not crying, shut up.
now excuse me, i need to go not-cry somewhere else.
Oh my... I have waterfalls forming form my eyes.
Damn it, I am even crying.
Sometimes it’s the imaginary or fictional characters we can relate to.
I'M NOT CRYING YOU ARE!!!
This one is the best out of all of them by far! Made me cry
I have read this one a few times and it gets me everytime
No matter how many times I listen... I always cry.
