    Hey guys! Just thought I'd mention that the live tones don't have any post processing on them at all. I purposely used the same amp setting for all demos just to really emphasise how influentual cabinets can be to your tone. As always, leave your thoughts down below!

    Hey buddy I’m using the cali oversized by ggd and I really like it, but the zilla looks more versatile right?
    Actually I’m looking for that “woof” sound if you know what I mean, the closest ir I found it is an old ir from tse, Do you know any other one with that “woofy sound”, any advice?
    Thank you so much buddy :)

    Great video! When recording guitars, would you recommend using this plugin in the fx chain or export an IR from the plugin and use the IR in a loader? Is there a benefit to using just the exported IRs?

    Hey Keyan!
    I love the vids. Excellent content and really great guitar playing. I got mad respect for your skills playing guitar as well as production/engineering and writing.
    I was wondering what you preferred between the GGD Zilla Studio Cabs and Mikko?
    The review of both have a lot of great info but, I'm trying to choose between them and with such a huge price difference, it's a tough choice lol.

    • @KeyanHoushmandLive
      @KeyanHoushmandLive  4 роки тому +1

      They both offer different things. GGD is much more plug and play, MIKKO is more in depth

    • @seanchristopher740
      @seanchristopher740 4 роки тому +1

      I'm definitely looking to craft my sound as much as i can, so in depth might be perfect and exactly what I'm looking for lol.
      I got the GGD Zilla Studio Cabs because it's quite a bit less $$. The cabs all sound really good, but they're honestly a bit dark for my taste. No matter what i tried, i couldn't brighten them up as much as I'd like.
      I've messed with the plugin for days now and haven't been able to get a bright enough sound so I'm hoping I'll be able to get there with the Mikko Plugin. Do you think it'll be worth buying the Mikko Plugin? Or would i be better off buying an ML Sound Lab IR pack or something?
      Sorry for the novel lol i just value your opinion.
      Thanks so much for getting back to me man. It really shows how genuine you are. I support all you do and really admire your talent!

    I bought this based on your Ark video before even watching this. I think it's amazing. I had this cover I did of Symphony of Destruction I made for my own amusement a month ago lying on Reaper (it's the original track minus the guitars which I played over) and I tried switching out a few amp sims after the fact on the recording to try get a sound I was happy with. I tried Plini, Nolly, Granophyre, ML Roots, tried EQ-ing it, and I wasn't happy with any and sort of gave up.
    I installed Zilla and decided to give it another try. I didn't even change whatever the last amp sims I tried, yet I was able to use Zilla to blend the sound and I got a sound I was happy with in no time. I didn't even have to EQ it because I could use one amp or mic combination to cancel out some nastiness caused by another. In the end my final cut sounded like it belonged in the song and not just something played over it.
    Highly recommended.

    Hey dude! Congrats for the videos! Really amazing tones! One question maybe you can help me on this. I have the Helix, and I want to use it with the GGD studio cab. The issue is how can I do it to monitor and listen to the mix at the same time? When I disconnect the cab on the helix I can record it but I can not play at the same time with the GGD because the helix fizzy sound without the cab it’s at the front... I don’t know if I’m explaining myself properly lol

    Hey man, just stumbling across this video during my research on the GGD Zilla cabs. If one wanted to export the IR’s and import them into some hardware (Helix), is the idea that you would pick or make your own combination and export them individually as you create them?

    I'm a total newbie in the VSTs scene. Now is the Zilla plugin similar to say archetype Nolly in terms of creating tone from scratch? Or is it used to enhance and refine an already created tone through another plugin in the chain?

    • @KeyanHoushmandLive
      @KeyanHoushmandLive  4 роки тому

      Hey man, this is purely just a cab speaker plugin. If you were using this with Nolly or any other amp plugin, you would disable the cab speaker section and then put the GGD Zilla right sfter the amp in the plugin chain. Hope that makes sense, thanks for watching!
