Blacksmithing Tutorial - Tapering

In this video I go through a few different methods of creating a taper.
Tapering is one of the most basic blacksmithing techniques and in this video I will show you a few different techniques to create them. I will cover three different methods for drawing out the material and explain the pros and cons of each. I will also demonstrate the process using a power hammer to show how useful and labour saving they are (although quite expensive!)
Whether you are a begginer just starting out, or thinking of starting your exploration into blacksmithing, there is no better place to start than with tapers.
