King. Very informative. My wife works there and was getting discouraged because of how she was being treated and Carrier Assistant. She bust her butt and makes her 12/13 hrs a day tho but she wanted to quit because she thought she was never gonna move up. I told her she has to out in the work because this isn't an ordinary job. It's hard work if you really want to move to career.
I appreciate you doing these videos. I was hired by the USPS as a RCA. I was originally hired at a PO about 40 minutes from my home. I had finished all the required application forms and processes (so I thought). A few days later I received a email from HR letting me know my offer was rescinded due to not completing the SF-85 in the required time, fortunately for me I took a picture that I had submitted it but for some reason GIS did not receive it on their end. The Postmaster went to fight for me, she contacted HR, she kept in touch with me...1 month later (after filling out the SF-85 again) my local PO offered me a job and now I will start orientation on Monday. I say "everything happens for a reason." If it wasn't for the first "Meet & Greet" I don't know if I would be getting ready to start my first day with the USPS. My "Meet & Greet" with the first Postmaster she said to me that I would not be able to have a 2nd job because I will get 40 plus hours. The PO I ended up accepted a position with the Postmaster said that I am guaranteed only 1 day per week. She also said after my 90 days I can also work at other PO to make up hour or work overtime. I have so many connecting towns to my little town so I feel as though it will be a win/win situation. Because of your videos and what was said to me at my first "Meet & Greet" is why I feel as though I am making the right choice. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO!!! You are helping so many.

In my opinion jumping into a PTF position in any other craft other than TTO is a waste. A PTF is nothing more than a PSE with better benefits. Yes they convert faster to being a regular because technically they consider a PTF a regular position. But a PTF can get sent home at any given time and will never have a set shift. I know a PTF who I advise not to go PTF and just wait her time out as PSE; who is now regretting it. She was working 48-60 hrs as a PSE. And now she’s barely working 30 as a PTF

King. I'm assuming CCA's and RCA's are most likely to to get 40+ hours as a new employee
Got a question for you. Does the USPS require and or demand their employees to be Covid Vaccinated to be employed or to continued employment with USPS?
Nope. NOT at all
Good question cause I'm not taking that shit

King how long before you can move up to a postal inspector?
Apply.. if u have a degree.. and under 35
@@MrFinesse316 I have a few degrees and I am 37 years old. If I can’t get into that I will still be happy having an opportunity working for the post office as a PSE
Hey. Jay H. I've recently went to orientation class for MHA. I had to Quit/Resigned due to Covid shutdown childcare/school. How hard is it to get back on. Or do they black ball you. seeing as I only work a few days.? Thanks
Reapply!!!
Jay nyc needs to get out of here can you confirm that your pay is the same from one state to another?
It is the Same yes
In my opinion jumping into a PTF position in any other craft other than TTO is a waste. A PTF is nothing more than a PSE with better benefits. Yes they convert faster to being a regular because technically they consider a PTF a regular position. But a PTF can get sent home at any given time and will never have a set shift. I know a PTF who I advise not to go PTF and just wait her time out as PSE; who is now regretting it. She was working 48-60 hrs as a PSE. And now she’s barely working 30 as a PTF
Very helpful video!
