Just converted to Career last Saturday 4/09/22. Took me 9 months 🙏. Now I’m a clerk at a station here in Puerto Rico. So happy to be able to provide for my family and all the benefits that comes for working for USPS. Thanks for all you do to help people understand the process and make it easier 🙏

My hire date was on 02/26/22 as a PSE Processing Clerk, but have only been doing MHA work. Right now at our plant everyone who applies as a Mail Handler make career immediately.
Took me 2 and a half to convert to carrier ...you want that cheddah get on the overtime list I paid my dues i get my 8. I help when needed mgt is solid here at m my station. congratulations to all who made it through
LMAOOO I just became CCA on April 1st (yeah April Fool's day)... today I saw my station supervisor arguing with around 4-5 other "regulars" about overtime and I overheard her yelling NOOOO! Overtime is NOT based on seniority or some shit, and there was yelling back an forth!! I am SOOOO glad I'm getting 60+ hours a week and not having to fight other regulars for scraps of overtime left over by my CCA's 🤣😭😭

You do a great job telling about the post office. Those that are really interested in doing a good job can really learn by watching all of your videos. I tell everyone to watch the UA-cam videos 1st before applying to see which career they would be more interested in. I sure can't wait to go career though. I'm tired of so much OT.
I got converted in December. As of today more MHA are getting converted. That means as of today, right now, every single MHA on my tour is now Career. I still get a lot of OT because my plant is so god damn busy all the time, it never stops. Them OTR's just keep rolling in one after another non stop. Last night we did like 300 or 400 OTR's. Last freaking Saturday is supposed to be the slowest day of the week for us, nope. We did about 250 OTR's it's non stop. There is no dispatch on Saturday and we still got everything done. PSE's which isn't a craft them cats are pissed that they aren't getting converted. Them guys get sent home early all the time. PSE's are bottom of the food chain in my plant and I tried to tell a couple of them to just switch over. They said no because I don't wanna do manual labor. One of them told me they have to convert us at some point and I said yeah in 2 maybe 3 years from now. Some of them don't even know what PSE stands for. The PSE's don't like us MHA's and they sit in our break room and put their lunches in our fridges so there is no room for us when we go in. They don't understand that there is a fine line difference between a MHA and a PSE. They also don't understand why the supervisors and plant manager treat us like the golden child.
Clerks at my plant do not like is mha man idk why they be giving us dirty looks all because they do less work more pay lll we do more work in all reality
@@BricksquadmonopolyMr Clerks can't stand us at my plant lol. We get dirty looks as well and I just laugh honestly. We get treated differently than everybody else. PSE's try to come into our section and they get thrown out every single time lol. We have music playing all the time and we chopping it up, BUT we are working our asses off at the same time. Our section is the only one allowed to play music and I think that's one reason PSE's don't like us. I walk pass the PSE sections and it's dead silence and they all look miserable.
@@GenX_US_Marine same exact shit in Springfield ndc so I bump my jbl speaker they run to the 204b's but they don't say nothing always giving us mha bad looks they even now request us to build there boxes 📦 it's in the contract that we are supposed to blah blah but in our plant most pse build there own boxes it's so dumb they get paid more and still bitch more than anyone even the regs talking about it's too lout lol 😂
Hey J, I'm a rual Carrier in the bay county area when I started with the PO I was 23rd in line in seniority that was almost 2 years ago ( 1y 4m) the growth in my area has increased Exponentially and has caused me to climb the latter a wicked fast I'm now sitting 4th in line and by my calculations I will be hitting reg by late September this year which will also mean I'll be the youngest Rual Carrier in the past 25 years to become reg in my county! I can't wait! I'm 25 years old btw.

I became a PSE January 2021 and I unfortunately have about another year to go before I convert to career, there are 4 PSEs ahead of me at my office. Guess I wasn’t so lucky 🍀 🚫 😔
I know this isn't related to conversion, but have you heard when deadline is for the MVO to TTO pilot program? Also, I heard PTF's make more because they aren't given holiday's off and therefore they get paid for holidays in their regular pay.
you may be lucky once career and get to drive to another post office that needs help and get some OT. I know my postman who is career can always go to another location when he's done working in my town and he gets plenty of OT still. why are they making people go to career so fast, is there a reason?
Hey Jay, I just completed my 3 days as a CCA here in sacramento,CA and I wanted to know about uniforms. Do you know of some places to use the allowance, what should I be focused on when using it the 1st time. Because I'm cornbread fed from the waist down I know finding something to fit properly is going to be hard. Also if you didn't know they have diminished uniforms for all RCA'S (that's what they said in closing today in orientation)

U will get ur allowance after your probation period.
You will have information at your station for your local vendors for your uniforms as well
Does every state pay the same for the post office? Cost of living increases go nation wide all the same amount or does it vary state to state
