Thanks for the video Scott. I have a question though, do you stop using aweber? If not, how does that work when you add new subscribers to Everbee? Do you transfer them to aWeber since it'll probably has more capabilities so you can run campaigns etc? Assuming you'll go over this on Wednesday, but wanted to check. I don't think I can attend the training live.
I know Etsy is sending a lot of these emails automatically (it's been shipped / please leave a review, etc.), so could this be considered redundant and potentially annoying to your customer?
And I'm talking about the beginning of the video where you'd be manually sending (yes I love the idea of Everbee email but can't do $30/month right now for that, hopefully soon!!)
The reason you want to also send these emails yourself is because you are asking them to join your mailing list also. You are also promoting your other products in the email. The end goal is to build your mailing list.
Would it be a good idea asking them if they like the product(in the last optional email 'review request') then they may send that exact email forward to someone who would like it....with the exact item and the 3 bestsellers/featured listings? And edit the email template as it can ask for review on the SECOND place, and be rather a promo to be sent forward generating more traffic?! In this case it would be nice to see the forwarded percentage(if possible) to see if its working or not to bother with.(sorry, my sentences are to complicated)
I've been beta testing it too and my open rate is really good, which was surprising because I always assumed people dont check their emails. It's nice having this done automatically.
@@brandcreators we recently got an "anti extortion" message from Etsy after sending out messages to recent customers asking for their feedback/review, though.
Because Etsy really frowns on sellers asking for reviews on their websites and in messages, I slip in a packaging insert with every order that contains a discount code, plus a request for a review on that branding insert. My inserts are attractive and usually contain some sort of image that someone would hang on their refrigerator. For example, one of my stores is acid punk art. So my branding insert is a really cool illustration similar to the one they already bought, and within the illustration I added a discount code where it's obvious to see. I've noticed an increase in reviews and additional sales than before I added branding inserts. (Printful and Printify offer branding options)
Hi, I followed this same process with my first 20 sales of digital products. Etsy has disabled my messaging for the last week and I don't know why. I've put in a 3 support requests to get it resolved but messaging is still disabled. I don't think I violated anything. I basically ask for a 5 Star review they were happy with the purchase. Has anyone had similar issues with Etsy?
I'm only a minute in.. my problem is I have zero sales lol.. I only have 17 views... really do not want to bother my family or friends... I feel like my t-shirts are really nice, but it is hard to get noticed. :( Can't get reviews without sales, hoping this video will help, but I do know I will ultimately probably have to bother my family and friends for those first sales to get the ball rolling..

I have the same questions. I’m currently using aWeber.
What is the advantage of everbee email over aweber? And can I use it for my coming soon shopify store? Looks cool
Wow, you are so right! Thank you!
Is this included in Everbees Growth Plan?
yes, it should be rolling out to everyone this week :)
Doesn't Etsy already send emails?

So this replaces AWeber?
yes!

There's a reason email marketing is still rated as the highest ROI activity by e-commerce brands😉
I thought asking for a review was against etsys TOS?
Nope

Did you send all messages at the same time, you were flagged for spamming, it does happens sometimes when you send more messages in same time
@@DexPixelbut how would etsy know that seller was sending emails? They don’t go thru Etsy, it’s thru Everbee.
What are the exclusive offers you given them when they subscribe?
Discount code on next order!
For either a percentage off OR for free shipping
Wow you amazing, I wish you can help me I'm not selling😂
You can’t get reviews if you don’t sell anything

Have you tried the method yet? How is it working for you? I'm a new shop too and only got a few reviews so far, could really use some more!
