    Hi, Hannah! I just discovered your channel, and wanted to say this video (as well as your other videos on store growth) has been really helpful! :) After staying up all night researching the best SEO methods for Etsy, I was feeling really discouraged earlier in the day when a different UA-camr was saying 'you have to have a bunch of designs already made, that waiting 4-5 days for a new design isn't going to cut it, and 100 orders is the minimum to get sales'. I already had in my mind that I wanted to publish new designs once a week, or at the very least a couple times a month, because I recognize the SEO game is more quantity-focused. But hearing that advice (specifically the part about having a new design each day) made me doubt whether Etsy was for me. Especially because I want to create a store that prioritizes quality over the quantity.
    Your tip about tackling more listings through duplicates and changing certain things made me really hopeful that I can still navigate my way through this, and address one of the key components that seem to be contributing to a lot of sellers success. Thanks again for your insight and knowledge!!

    Depending on which country you're in, you may want to be careful about running daily "sales". EU especially has consumer protection laws that prevent retailers from running an item on a "sale" without a cooldown period. Here in the US it's common for everything to always be on sale - but this isn't the case everywhere.

    I'm trying to run a shop on Etsy for a few weeks now, and what I've learned is that you need to focus on just one thing, and that's a social media presence to promote your shop. Without that, everything else that you do will have no effect at all. You can fill your shop with as many great looking items as you want, you can start daily sales, you can use the right keywords, but if nobody knows you're out there, you won't get ANY traffic. I'm looking at an average of 2-3 visits per day without socials, so that's what I need to focus on and unfortunately nobody on UA-cam shows exactly how all of that works. I guess trying to avoid those apps all this time isn't paying off right now. :)
    (I kept hitting some strange keywords that kept removing my comment. Apologies if I left any copies)

    Hannah, these are great pointers!! Question; how do we know we're on the right track for keywords/titles etc? I follow your tutorial plus other tutorials I've seen on UA-cam, but I'm none the wiser if certain keywords work better or not, certain titles work better or not. Is there a way to do an objective test? Let's say we duplicate a listing, I'd probably use a different cover photo... doesn't that insert another variable on top of new keywords? Would love your take on this. Btw, really saving up to get your course! Love all the info you put on here

    • @EcomHannah
      @EcomHannah  Рік тому +1

      People tend to get really caught up in keywords, that energy is better spent investing in the best photography possible it’s likely that after you do your research you’re pulling all the best case scenario words possible, the only thing that you can really test is the placement of those words in your title since the first 4 words our priority. Etsy AI now a days almost knows what your item is with no words at all with just the photo. With that being said, you still want to prioritize your favorite words first and put those in the beginning of your title tags and description. There is no perfect formula. The winning is having a constant inflow of new listings testing either the same SKUs a few different ways or new skus

    • @lillejuniper6242

      I don't understand why you would offer the SVG file with a POD t-shirt. The general public would have no use for it/wouldn't even understand what it is, and if you've purchased the file from a designer, you're not allowed to re-sell it or give it away for free.

    • @Jeniveve

      @@lillejuniper6242t lowers the cost significantly, thereby increasing the chance of your buyer clicking your listing versus someone else’s. You’re right, they likely won’t buy the SVG, but you grabbed their attention and click, which in and of itself, is a huge hurdle that you’ve won.

    • @AdsyBoost
      @AdsyBoost 2 місяці тому

      Great question! When it comes to listing frequency, it’s less about a “wrong” way and more about finding what works best for your shop and maintaining consistency. There’s no hard rule that says uploading many listings at once or spacing them out will 'ruin' your store, but there are a few strategies you can consider.
      Many sellers find that uploading a few listings at a time, spaced out over days or weeks, can help keep your shop active and signal to Etsy’s algorithm that you’re regularly adding new content. This can give you more frequent chances to show up in search results as a ‘new’ listing.
      The key here is consistency. Whether you post daily, weekly, or in bulk, make sure you have a system that’s sustainable for you. Don’t stress too much about 'ruining' your shop-it’s all about trial and error, and adjusting based on what works best for your business!

      So not properly I would say if you set the listing up as a digital asset where they get it sent to them automatically from etsy. If you set it up as a regular listing and send them the order manually after they purchase this would be possible. Downfall is you have to send it to them pretty quickly post purchase but if you have a full time VA this would def be possible in the long run.

      Implementing these right away will instantly begin to increase your stores traffic, no one can guarantee it will hit 100k since every niche is different but it will definitely set you off in that direction
