When I first started animating in firealpaca I literally used to put everything on one layer, you have no idea how DUMBFOUNDED I WAS WHEN I DISCOVERED THE FOLDERS
“If you’re crazy you can do 60 fra- ERUERUERUERUERUERUERUERU- 60 frames per second- sorry here, 60 frames per second. So that’s bluntly how you animate.” - Bellasaurus, 2021 at 2:30 (I swear, if this becomes a meme-)
IF you don't want to create all the folders because you're LAZY and turn on the onion skin and stuff you can go to the "animation" tab when creating the project in FireAlpaca. I had no idea that you could do it the way that Bella told us, I always do it like this!
Okay this feels really weird to say but, a lot of your videos have a very nice meme feel to it, and it makes them feel more authentic??? Idk just something about it feels very inviting and genuine and this still sounds weird shiashdfuishbdfj
thank you SO MUCH i have always been confused how people would even animate with firealpaca but this helps! now I might actually animate something for once-
you dont have to copy the background to every layer .w." you can put one image on the first frame that you wanna use as background and set it to always show in view
First video I found that actually explains a lot and doesn't drag the video out and I barely understand anything. Thank you for making your video simple!
You can also export all the layers/frames via onion skin mode to save them faster. Like, File > Export layers (Onion skin mode), save to whatever file you want then close out of the tab that asks if you wanna make it a GIF. It automatically saves everything to the folder you chose :3 Though saving manually can be helpful too in case you gotta tweak something while it's already in editing, cuz saving it via onion skin mode saves every frame as a separate file if that makes sense.. Both are good ways and it all depends on how you're comfortable using it UwU
TYSM THIS HELPED SO MUCH THE ANIMATION PROGRAM TO ACTUALLY PUT THEM TOGETHER WOULDNT ALLOW ME TO DO MOST THINGS AND NOW BECAUSE I HAVE LIGHTWORKS I CANNNNNNNNNNNNNN TYSM TwT
Y'all don't have to save all layers manually, you can save the entire thing at once. Here's how (No GIF): 1. Go to File 2. Click on 'Export Layer's (Animated Mode) 3. Save it to the folder you should've made 4. You're done Here's how (GIF): 1. Go to File 2. Click on 'Export as Animated as Gif' 3. Save it to the folder you should've made 4. You're done Hope that helped :3
Bella you have no idea how helpful this is to me. Like- i have been making tiny clips of animation with this crappy tablet app, thank you so very much. okay- I hope you have a good day- bye-
Amazing Ive had Lightworks for a while now and its just killed me spending hours trying to figure out how to use it lol fun fact where you create a new drawing in Firealpaca and the top there three little tabs that say “Drawing|Comic|Animation” when you click on animation you can choose how many frames you want and if theyre in folders or not :] Lol now the question is how do you upload to youtube? Jk jk :p I know how to do that
OMG this was genualy so helpful!!, iv watched a lot of people try to show and talk trying to teach people how to animate. But it was all was very over whelming even for fire Alpcah, so thank you so much for helping me understand!! also id love to see a tutorial on the editing software!.
hii, if your still using firealpaca for animation, you can export all of the layers into the folder at once with the export layers (onion skin mode) hope this helps :')
it's my first time using this program so i am so thankful for this video tutorial. Thank you!! P.S. I freaking love your explanations!!! I think you're silly and interesting
Thank you for the tutorial Bella! Very clean and easy to follow, I’ve been trying out Procreate for animation, but there isn’t support like lightworks or audio and other benefits. I might try out this method!
Quite funny how i used on my pfp (not this one) over 30 layers (20 were sketches) and spent 9hours now imagine an animation Being animator is hell you ankmators who produce like 10minute (24fps) animation in 6 weeks you have my fucking respect
I have been looking for art programs that can count as animation programs. Krita is really hard to use as an animation\art program as you can't export layers. Thank you for sharing this video.
@Bellasaurus a much more efficient way of exporting your frames is going to file --> Export as Animated GIF. You don't need to use AlpacaDouga to make it INTO a gif, but it quickly exports the frames.
Thanks so much. I had recently downloaded Firealpaca because of you and I needed an animating software. I looked up *How to use firealpaca 2021* and this popped up Me: Sees it's by bella Me: Ooh la la
Hi Bellasaurus, I was just wondering if you ever end up doing a Lightworks tutorial for animation (learning how to zoom in and out, make characters do the PMV movements etc). All good if that kind of video is not going to end up happening but I thought I’d ask since a lot of the tutorials I see are super outdated with Lightworks and I wanted to start trying out animation!
Thanks for the link I’ll use this tomorrow! I’ll maybe switch to this but if you are Mobile, use ibisPaint and FlipaClip they are simple and yet are amazing! And I might use light works to edit my gaming vids
@@LucKyCreates. yes but I watched like a few minutes of it, and obviously I can tell from the title and how it’s by Bella that it will be a great video and so far as I had seen it it was (and is) a good video. Lol I’m not one of those people who says first or whatever don’t get me wrong 😅
This is really helpful, I am working on animating and have been looking everywhere for good animating software! also, do you use a drawing tablet or just your mouse or something else?
To anyone who animates or draws in fire alpaca, how do you leave the app? Does the work stay in there, do you have to save the work in progresses, etc.
Fun Fact: I literally use FireAlpaca for literally all my animations and drawings.
Literally
@@Lolneytaubia Yes literally.
is there a way to keep it from slwoly killing your computer? I get like 10 frames in and everything slows so badly
When I first started animating in firealpaca I literally used to put everything on one layer, you have no idea how DUMBFOUNDED I WAS WHEN I DISCOVERED THE FOLDERS
I know this was two years ago but oh my god same. Like literally my jaw dropped. I had no idea you could do that 😭
me too
The title looks like you’re just screaming at us like you’re fed up with us asking *“How do you animate with firealpaca?”*
XDDDD
Bellasaurus always screams at us :P plus someone already made a video on how to animate with firealpaca before this one.
anyone does that
Funfact: rarely, the people who are first actually WATCH the video.
Great tutorial! I might consider using it on my PC!
I always do XD
I would use it on MacBook if i could actually draw on computer but my dad has this pad thing I’m going to try can someone tell me how it works
