We have totally cut out as much work in holidays as possible so we can just enjoy our time together. I'm much older than you but seeing how much work you do on celebration days made me realize how much anxiety I used to have on big days vs how relaxing it is now. Thank you. I needed perspective today. Your food looks delicious.

I like the "52-ounce" Hidden Valley ranch dressing squeeze bottles. I could squeeze ranch dressing into the middle bowl of the veggie tray.

Kimmy, I seriously think we’re kindred souls! I’ll be honest I watched last year’s Easter vlog and giggled through it again! I didn’t see it until about a week ago, and I loved watching you with the cake! It’s on my favorites list for when I’m feeling rough and need a pick me up. Also, loved watching the home school party. Made me miss the younger home school years. I’m going to pass on the silver and golden egg idea for egg hunts to my hubby! I love ya Girly! PS. Great job on the cake 😉

We can use the French cut green beans and put worchestershire sauce and mushrooms in our green bean casserole. So yummy.

I have not tried that flavor but have to say that brands jalapeño ranch is amazing. Not too hot and gives good flavor to everything. 🤤

On Easter, I stayed at my home. I watched the televised church service for Christ's resurrection. I had a holiday feast. I ate 2 Easter cupcakes.

I love making Brussel sprouts in the oven on 350 with salt pepper and vegetable oil and just heating till the brown

I really like those Ziploc bag holders, I know there's ways to get around using those like using a drink pitcher but those ziplock bag holders or something that I just don't like going without anymore when I'm doing food prep. I'm definitely going to be trying that lemon cake. My husband's birthday is in May and he absolutely loves anything lemon.

We use to make the macaroni salad with celery instead of peppers and mayo. Today I make it with chicken because family won't eat tuna

so glad you had a good Easter the Lemon cake looks yummy. I too use Betty Crocker cake mix so good, I used the coffee and chocolate frosting to make my Easter cake, and made a cross with the Cadbury mini eggs. the family loved it. one for you to try Kimmy. The food looked amazing. xxx
I also throw some light house refridgerated coleslaw dressing (found by the coleslaw mixes in the veg section), also a good dollop of sour cream!!! Yummy! Also love to put in mustard and celery seed! Love your channel!

I remember making garlic bread by melting butter and garlic powder in a sauce pan and than putting it on the bread than popping it in the oven :) Food looks yummy! Lot's of fun and good memories :)

I wanted to share some tips from things I saw in your video since you are so gracious to share so much with us! 😊
Fix your bacon in the oven! So much easier and no grease splatter! Just line cookie trays/baking sheets with aluminum foil and cook it at 375 degrees for about 30 mins. My family will let the bacon grease harden and then you can easily pull the aluminum foil off the pans with no mess!
Also for your fruit salad, add a couple boxes of regular or sugar free instant cheesecake pudding mix with some orange or pineapple juice in with the fruit! Just sprinkle the dry mix over the fruit and add juice as you need and stir! Soooo delicious. It can be done with all kinds of fruit, but our favorite fruits for this are mandarin oranges, strawberries, and pineapple!

I found the lite house ranch dressing at our local Sam’s club and you are right it is delicious 🤤 I love ❤️ it
The Betty Crocker super moist cake mix can be tricky sometimes. We used it for my daughter's birthday in January and had no problems. Then used it again last week for my hubby's birthday, it was very crumbly and almost fell apart. Both times we made the cake the same exact way.
Our Easter sunday will be in 2 weeks so it's nice to get some new ideas for meals !!

Instead of pineapple, I use a cup of regular Dr. Pepper and ground cloves. Yum.
I make my ham with coke zero add cloves then half a hour before it's ready take it out put it in oven so it goes brown and crispy so nice as well it's also good with fanta orange zero as well but dont no if you have fanta orange in American am in uk

Here in England we can get cambells chicken or mushrooms soup but not the one with roasted garlic in will keep my eye for it you never no they might have it one day or can add my own roasted garlic to it aound so nice
