Ive been moved to a emergencey accommodation for 7 nights in hunslow with 2 kids, im a single parent. My housing advisor said shes trying to get me into a private rented accommodation. She said i can carry on bidding on band b high priority on the housing register, which i have been on for 4 years. I said wont that effect my priority band if im in private wont my situation be aeen as nonurgent she said no. Im confused and unsure. She said temporary accommodation would prolong the bidding and actually getting a offer but private wont
I havent been given a php they looked at my med evidence and said i dont qualify on face value even though im brit and have eviction notice(for l.lord is refurbishing so I have to go)
Php is the most disgusting useless trick council use to give you zero help,my php was full of useless steps that will never help me and they know previously it us useless, and when i refuse follow it cause it is useless and i try it all and nothing in it work in reality, and also because the officer who was supose to deal with me about it was a psychopath and liar keep lie about everything example she don't call me then claiming she call and i didn't answer,or she suggest completely useless ideas and if i tell her i try what she recommend but find it is useless she then keep saying i am not co operate! Co operate with what, Example:telling me to find private rent while she know all landlords refuse me cause i am on benefits!!
Ive received a section 21 my landlord needs to sell the property as its a interest only mortgage. I've started a homeless application. I am a single parent of 3 children..eldest daughter 12, son is 9 and youngest daughter is 1. I've been told by a Councillor thag council will not do anything unless i get a baillifs warrant. I live in a 2 bed flat with a lot of damp my children and i have alllergy tablets regularly. My eldest suffers from severe anxiety and recently have been told by her sschool that she has severe anxiety, does self harm and gets suicidal thoughts. I never knew that she was experiencing this i knew in uncomfortable situations she panic where anxiety kicks in. She even had a heart specialist monitor and assess her through out the years and came to a conclusion that she has no heart condition but suffers from anxiety. How can i explain this to my coworker or the council? As i know if they even were to put me in a temp bed and breakfast due to the environment my daughter wont be able to cope. Could you please help me with some advise. Im so lost right now :( i feel so helpless. After the call i feel so torn and feel so stuck that there is no light under the tunnel.

You will need to complain. Go to a different councillor about the advice you need to wait for the bailiffs warrant, it simply isn't true, but you must complain if you want the council to follow the law
What happens when the temporary accommodation had a negative mental and physical on a client and the council is refusing to change the temporary hotel accommodation?
You complain about that at you have a roof over your head. I was told I'm a non priority but they we are obliged to help. No temporary homeless accommodation for me so need sleep outside until they find me housing. This will help my mental health greatly... I'm not a vulnerable person according to them.
What about HO who are passive-aggressively trying to make people intentionally homeless? Refused to approve a suitable private property for 'being too expensive' at £800/m (the limit of budget sheet they did), a year stuck in temp accommodation, HO sending lists of private rental ad's hours out of the area for properties well over £1200/m, make a judicial review due to put in unsuitable temp acc and completely ignored, then find a suitable property at £795/m and HO threatening too expensive will be classed as intentionally homeless. Complaints about bullying etc been ignored by everyone who should give advice/help.
Sounds all too familiar. I had the same problem with the HO. She ignored my disabled needs and medical treatment in my Borough. Said my accommodation was suitable when it is not. I am sleeping on the floor due to skin and lung reaction to damp in bedroom. To me I prefer to be here than forced into this homelessness nonsense. It is not solving anything for vulnerable people. Temporary accommodation is the short term LA solution to NOT building social housing. The potentially homeless are blamed for bad behaviour from landlords, threats of violence, harassment, and being moved out of London by HOs. They would not ah e listened to me. I made an appeal via the PHP. They refused me reasonable adjustments in the process and in my housing choices. They say they have not contravened The Equality Act and the Public Sector Equality Duty. But they left out the relevant sections of the government compliance in public sector services and the Rights to reasonable adjustments under protected rights for disabled persons. My current accommodative is also not suitable. I have 27 stairs and a chronic foot injury with use. I can’t live here long term. I may make a new homeless application - I wonder if I ll be told by the homeless officer that they have finished their relief duty as current accommodation is suitable due to repairs? Then start again re stairs and accessibility. That is what I am understanding
I live in a female shelter for 9 months. They sent me to a all men housing at first didn't get the apartment..........second time they didnt comtact me I didmt get the supportive housing.... I suffer from autism...cptsd amd social anxiety. I work....its effecting my workload ny brooklyn me

If they dont consider you vulnerable but youre homeless, are they legally required to still do a PHP
Yes, if they accept you're homeless or threatened with homelessness, and eligible for assistance
I havent been given a php they looked at my med evidence and said i dont qualify on face value even though im brit and have eviction notice(for l.lord is refurbishing so I have to go)
