Excellent articulation of the Kargil War Lessons.
Sir I would request you to please repeat the same for 1971, 65, 62, and the skirmishes we have been in.

Sir , please tell the common man a background of how the LOC got marked after 1947 , 1965 and 1971 wars ? Based on the Simla agreement after 1971 War , territory around the previously held LOC got traded between India and Pakistan !
This background was probably factored by Pakistan in 1999 that following a conflict and maybe a War…. it would still hold territory in Kashmir that it held at the end of the War after subsequent negotiations ( as was the practice followed after earlier Wars and previous negotiations )
The only exception being Siachen held by us from 1984 of unmarked territory that was not specifically discussed during the Simla Agreement .

Sir why leave out the name of the corps of EME. They worked night and day to get the artillery guns battle ready.

What the indians learned from all the conflicts with pakistan and china?
Why indians are always learning lessons instead of teaching lessons to their arch enemies lessons?

      Fools teach. Wise people learn.

Gen. Shankar, please cover a possible scenario that if during Kargil operations , Pakistan had declared full fledged war like in 1965? How would India have reacted.?

With all due respect, sir, yes we owned our mistakes and set up the kargil review committee but did we implement the reforms that came out of it?
Pm gave a clear mandate to establish joint commands and the armed forces are still dragging their heels.
Just like kargil we were again surprised in galwan by the Chinese in 2020. Army modernisation is still not even at the 50 percent mark.
Forget about weapons, we can't even provide full camouflage to our troops.
You see them wearing different camos. I often notice Indian soldiers wearing white boots with jungle camo.
Requirement to procure atags was passed at least 2 decades ago and we are yet to induct them even when we hv indigenous options available.
3 attacks happened last night in kashmir and our political and military elites have no answers. We are still following the ceasefire agreement with paxtan cuz the Chinese are sitting on our heads. China and paxtan are both obviously coordinating.
The only saving grace for India is its size otherwise the sheer incompetence for Indian political/military establishment has left no stone unturned in finding ways to fk up India's security.

We learnt nothing from Kargil. Galwan was the latest result.

Sir, please mute yourself next time when guests are speaking. You can unmute yourself when you feel like interjecting! I can hear background noises and they’re distracting! Hope you don’t mind my advice, sir!
Gen Hasnain and you both are always a treat to listen to!

With due regards to your Guests if you discuss any military issues, it would be good for nonmilitary audiences to. You speak and explain so well that we don’t need any other expert on your channel. You are the Best.
