No Buy Year 2023: Chat About 2nd Quarter | Minimalism

Dear all,
today I want to share with you how it's been going in the 2nd charter of my no-buy year 2023. It has been a hard time and I will let you know if I had a shopping relapse and if I am able to save mire money as I stopped shopping since 6 months now... but more in the video :)

Hi Isabel! I just came across your channel and I’ve been catching up on your no buy year. Where do you live? I’m in North Carolina in the United States. I love Disney World and lately I’ve just gone crazy buying Disney items on EBay. I have to stop, it’s getting a bit ridiculous. I’m thinking about starting a no buy on July 1st to cut myself off from spending. Looking forward to watching more of your videos for tips and inspiration!

I think you should have some grace for yourself. What you are attempting to do is really hard. Change doesn’t happen overnight. I would reconsider the wishlist and wait idea as well as letting yourself scroll and look for items. If it gets you through the year without actually buying something- changing your behaviors a little at a time, while allowing your briain/thinking to change more slowly is ok. Just my two cents. Be kind to yourself. Good luck

Thank you Angela 😊 it is indeed a big challenge! I didn‘t Expext it to be that tough but sometimes it is better to not know because we probably won‘t do a lot of things if we know before how Hard it will be 🤣👍
