A trick to not screw up the cone on the lugnut, turn the lugnut around and screw it on backwards, it will screw right on and it won't mar the cone on the lugnut up💙💙💙👍🤘
Makes me wonder if you don't have an issue in the rear end like a heat issue or a slight out of alignment on the rear putting pressure on the rear wheels in a funny way to make it fo that...
Ive learnt the hard way aswell with wheels going missing 😅 always torque the nuts up after putting them back on & re check after about 50 miles . I also check them before a long journey
WIll I make it back home? What should I do to #BrianVANtana to get it race ready? Is it time to punt the Avalanche on down the road (New spare wheel and all)?
The drum brake studs have less room to replace studs because of the brake shoes, I have loosened the backing plates to get them out and back in, I would be a little nervous about the tire height difference on those spider gears but it wouldn't have stopped me either
Glad you are okay sorry that happened hope he finds the wheel and tire friends of mine lost mine in a field no one ever found mine hope you have better luck even if only for his equipment. you probably know but there is the little bearing tool to help pull studs in like you did with the wrenches and if not might be a handy thing to grab next chance though the stud base is almost perfect to the inside of the one I have so grain of salt.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road? We're the pro auto lighting company for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!

I sure hope you make it home!
Me too!
PBG. Good guy you keep up the good work. Glad you are OK
Good vid Buff. 👍
Thanks for watching
I have had the same thing happen to me. I always tourqe my lug nuts with a tourqe wrench now. The fear of your tire falling off never goes away
I had used a torque wrench.. but the aluminum wheels have to be re-torqued and that’s where I failed
@@BuffsGarage that's what happend to me also
😮😮😮
Eric!
You should have called. We'd have met you for breakfast. 😉 Glad you got back on the road anyway.
I wish I had!
Always retorque, thanks for the reminder. Don't be Buff! "Children of the corn"
You tell me this now….

@@bernhard8540 since I literally just finished putting the rearend in, my guess is I just didn’t retighten the wheel

Yep I definitely #failed
Awesome video brother. Man you have had some bad luck lately. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have an incredible night. Much love and RESPECT
Thank you Tim

That sucks happened to me twice
Hopefully once is enough for me
glad you're back on all four and safe!
Thank you!
@@BuffsGarage Malachi got that wheel. Hoped you’d venture to the middle of the field.
Hey at least your need a tow video’s are with different vehicles. Me not so much. State Farm hates my truck!!!😅 BuT my ToW guy loves it.😂
I keep them guessing for sure!
I’m pretty sure that the 4-way lug wrench torque spec is 3 grunts
It felt like it, especially with the heat!
Handy use of leverage to install studs
It worked.
PBG led me here, I'm intrigued
Awesome! Glad to have you!
Sorry young man. If it wasn't for bad luck you would not have any luck. Just keep going forward and don't look back.
Always moving forward! Thanks for watching

Yep I went full send as the tire diameter was super close. Thanks for watching!

Very cool tip!

I don’t always intended to be off-road, but lighting might help find my wheel!

I would recommend swapping a front wheel for the 17 in wheel, so it would wreck the posi unit. Glad it didn't turn out worst than it did.
Thanks!
Glad you are safe! Look forward to seeing VanTana revived!
Dam Buff that’s crazy glad your ok !
Me too.. what a ride!
An adventure in itself. You were lucky to break down by a town and in the middle of nowhere.
I seem to have the best of the worst luck sometimes
